@Broski ship your carb to me and will get it rebuilt for you.

I have been eyeing those lately; the prices are quite reasonable. Can't decide which size to get - I'd probably mostly use it for small parts, but every now and then it would be nice to be able to do something larger.

I know right. I need it for small parts. Larger ones need more cleaning solution. Been reading up on tips and tricks for carb rebuilds that are unsaid. Discovered that old motorcyle mechanics had the best advice on carb operation and cleaning. Most swore by ultrasonication. I have a crockpot with diesel fuel and brake fluid for bolt cleaning which I do outside. This is safer.

that sounds like a good solution for that, might have to give that a try 👍 ... wonder if my wife would mind

I have the largest one available (at the time) on Amazon, about 7 gallons. Usually it's full of plain water, and then I put parts inside a smaller container (glass works best) or a ziploc bag full of whatever cleaning solution. Cuts down on the number of gallons of cleaners you need around. So far the best is Superclean, but go easy with aluminum parts, more than a few minutes and they will discolor. Simple Green Pro HD Purple is my favorite for aluminum. Thanks to @mattressking for the tip on that one.

I am sure I can measure deg throttle adjustments open on carbs other ways. This takes the guess work out.

Been looking for a while for one of these. Big Mac. Patience paid off. Low miles. Well maintained. E7 motor (425 hp). Double framed. Galbreth hydraulic hoist. 60k lbs haul capacity. Mack 18 speed transmission. Locked rear axles. Auto tarp. Camelback suspension. No DPF.
