Bought some tools for upcoming build needs on fuel and AC. They will pay off pretty quick.

Had a 12 hour wrench day with the boys. @SipLife got an itch to tear into Kermit to figure out why its not at its best. An itch I had a while back which was becoming a nervous eye twitch. He did a compression check and numbers were 120s across the board except cylinder 4 which was 30!!! We teamed up and yanked the head. Head looked good. Valves looked great. Cylinder 4 had a “chunk” missing at the top of the piston. Unexplained. Cylinder bore on 4 was perfect though. All other bores looked great. Reached out to @landcrusher909 to see if he has a spare 2f piston to send us. Will likely do a headgasket, replace piston with used one plus new rings and send it to see what happens. Plan B will be to swap out and put a rebuilt 2H sitting on shelf. @Cowboy45 did his finishing touches on his transmission hump on his 45 build. He will build his cross member next.

Need to increase the target size so @SipLife can regain his confidence during his oils changes. 15qts.

Also works on making oil change on Peterbilt easy😁

Where can you buy those CD?

Without elf support these days, getting some tools that facilitate one man tasks. Also got the Toyota brake master reservoir cap.

Graham tube beader arrived. Nice piece. Well made. Good old US iron feel. Has all kinds of federal strings attached. Did not know making beads on small tubing was strategic to US defense!

Comes with 3/8”, 1/2”, and 5/8” dies.

So does it flare and bend ?

Neither. Adds a bead offset from the end to connect hose where it goes over bead and clamped to prevent leaks and pull out

First reaction was to buy one but dang, they're proud of those things!

Not exactly next door neighbors ... If you ever want to test out how well it works for you, I have one which you can borrow. Just shoot me a PM and we can sort out a plan.

Bought this to add to the arsenal. Have the beefy vice flare tool. Hard to use “on truck”. This helps flare lines in tough spots where you cannot remove line from truck to flare on bench. This for TEQ brakelines

Was able to source the last fj45 tailgate built by AWL_TEQ. This will go on Old Landy. Got NLA hinges, white vynil lettering, chains, latches as well. Its a masterpiece. This is embossed lettering unlike the Chinesium out there.
