That looks like the one I was running too. In general it worked fine overall. Since I had that part off the truck recently due to some work needed I ended up switching over to a genuine cummins thermostat just to see if there will be any difference. I found one on ebay for a good price. New updated part number is 5292738. It is supposed to have the right number of jiggle pins now.

Can’t wait for the new Speedhut gauges to be in. Just waiting for the mounting plate from @FJ60Cam. Then I’ll have actual temperatures to go by. The single fan ran off the kill switch in the 60 as a manual on switch ran great.

@FJ60Cam just sent me picture of the Speedhut gauges mounting plates

Just ordered my Ruffstuff spindles and swing out latches. They were not on their Easter Sale but Dana gave me the 17% off sale anyhow. Ruffstuff Specially rocks:bounce::bounce2:

I need to get some of these for my trailer. Thanks for the reminder.

Edit -I meant those chain hangers you got. I need some of those for my Hilux trailer

How do you like the shifter being that long? On the 80 I have it cut down a bit but on the 75 it's long at the moment until I drive it to see how I like it.

Out with the old

In with the new.
Got the oil pressure sensor, boost sensor, EGT sensor and fan controller sensor installed. The fans are wired to the Derale controller and wires pulled into the cab of the 60. Got the Speedhut gauges installed.

I had my 85 Toyota 4Runner for almost 15 years. It was an awesome Toy. My girlfriend and now wife Rochelle and I built some amazing memories in it. Seems I always was carrying something on the rack.

Putting in the new gauges and I now longing for a Inclinometer which came in the 4Runner. Have no idea why it didn’t come in the 60? One of these would be awesome on the dash.

Wish I pulled mine when I sold it.

I thought they did come in the 60 in the lower part of the dash? I have seen a few that have them. If not @joekatana has some from 70 series pod like the 4Runner in the classified section at the moment.

Back at it on the 60. Brian got the Cummins T-stat in and the boost gauge since I dropped it off.
I got the instrument panel out and pulled sensor wires into the cab. Installed the oil pressure sensor. The Derale fan sensor bushing was a PITA. The sensor was 3/8” NPT but was straight thread. The bushing in the block was 3/8” x 1/2”. The sensor only went in one thread. I got the water temp sensor and it went in a good 4 threads. Frustrated I went to ACE hardware and got a new bushing and tried to thread fan sensor bushing into several new ones. It was still tight at one thread. They had a 3/8” die and the older dude took me into the back room and we chased the threads. Got the die to take material off the starting threads. Ran it on the bushing and it went on about 3 threads. Went back to Brian’s and tried it on the existing bushing. Went in a lot better. Put on some thread tape and tightened in nicely. Stupid hour delay.
Went home and took family for a hike up the upper Clackamas River. Was a great time until my daughter complained about a side ache. She lifted up her shirt and had a tick attached to her. Tried swiping with credit card but was firmly attached. Squeezed her skin and used my nails and was able to pull it free with the head. She handled it well. However that night at bed time she screamed bloody murder thinking one was on her backside. I almost had a heart attack. Ran to her bedroom to realize it was only a bunny turd from her pet bunny. Funny but my heart was beating like crazy.
