Moon rise over the Eagle Caps looking out of the rooftop tent. Wallowa Lake heading out Monday heading to Anthony Lake. Went fly fishing and caught more Brook Trout.

Definitely start her early! My daughter's 13 now. Her and I hiked and camped a ton when she was tiny. Around 18 months she did Multnomah falls all the way to the top and back. We did Beacon Rock a bunch when she was little. She loves camping, critters, middle of nowhere places. We kayaked all over Fern Ridge Reservoir last weekend.

Heck yeah man! That’s the plan. We’ve been trying to get her out as much as we can. We have a bike seat for our MTBs and use the hiking carrier backpack thing for longer hikes. That’s crazy she went to the top of multnomah falls at 18 months!

Awesome pictures these last few pages. Looks like a great trip. As for the family situation, hang in there and know you have all of us at your side brother.

While on my expedition a couple weeks ago the stock shock mount broke for my rear shocks on the cross member. Without rear shocks and airbags boy was the 60 a bucking bronco.
My mom was hospitalized with stage 4 lung cancer so I’ve been dealing with doctors, visiting, hospice and finding a home. Added another difficulty to another year.
Yesterday after taking my daughter to church camp I had some free time. Was able to get this taken care of. What a difference to now have the rear shocks again.

Really need to update thread.
Marriage was really struggling. Went to Tennessee in December 2024 to Men’s intensive 36 hour workshop. While there saw this beautiful 62 series next door to my hotel.

Then on December 30 just after 8pm my neighbor called and said somebody is looking for you to give you papers… there in my driveway. This was a familiar story told by the men at Marriage Helper. I went down my driveway in the dark to discover my wife filed for divorce…
In January my wife was planning to go have a hearing for exclusive use. My lawyer and I talked and he said to avoid being off your property move out to the camp trailer.
The morning I willingly gave up my house keys I was driving to work with my heads on the clouds and hit black ice and rolled Project Snowball ❄️.
Somehow I climbed out the passenger door and hit the ground and just laid on the frozen rock hard ground looking at my flipped Landcruiser ready to die. Last year I lost my mom in 3 weeks to stage 4 lung cancer, my wife to divorce, my house and now Snowball ❄️.

But as I was in the waiting room I prayed the loss of Project Snowball ❄️ may change my wife’s heart and reconsider her decision to end our marriage. It did nothing and in that moment a deep sickness welled up inside. But I wasn’t going to let it defeat me. I know God kept me alive for a purpose and that there was a better plan in store.
