Got back to my shop and was too excited to just drop off the new 4plus bumper. Got tools out and cut the rivet bolts off the frame and removed the bracket which held the stock bumper. Was actually surprised how well those rivers held. Had to cut both heads off. Drill holes through the bolt. Grind the heads down as far as possible. Use small sledge hammer and a large punch to remove them. Took about an hour but she is set in her new home. Just need new grade8 bolts and ready for a winch.

Looking through your build thread. On page 67 I see your adjustable proportioning valve. It looks like you used this valve. Would it better than the one from racer65? He was saying that adjustment for the FJ40 one is rather limited. This one looks like more adjustment is possible.

You’d have to pull up the technical manual from Wilwood, I don’t remember what the number I’d but I think it could co from 50% closed to fully open.

Keep in mind you’ll need flare adapters for that one. It uses a single bubble flare where Toyota uses double flares. But you’ll need to be cutting and flaring lines anyways so it’s not a big deal.

Not sure. The Wilwood is what pretty much everyone with modified brakes runs though.

Snowmaking is neat stuff. Are they using compressed air or fan guns? Do they mix inducer down at the pump end?

They use the ones with high pressure spay nozzles, compressor and giant fan blowing cold air through the center
I made my own for the backyard when we get arctic blasts of cold dry Canadian air from BC and Alberta. Our northerly flow is usually dry air with little snow. I built my snow maker so the kids could play in the yard. Have high pressure nozzles with a line below them that is ran to my air compressor. At 27F it works great making fine powder snow. The compressed air causes the air to super cool the water from the nozzle speeding up the freezing process. I’m really wanting to build a giant one soon. Everybody in my family calls me blizzard brain.
