Fuse Panel Wiring Loom Wearing Through (1 Viewer)

I don't think I've seen this posted on here before, but this could be the source of some people's electric issues so wanted to post for awareness. Just noticed on both my 62s that one of the bolts holding in the fuel door pull is in direct contact with the wiring loom for the fuse panel, and in one of them has worn through the looming and is wearing into the wires themselves.

replace the bolts with shorter ones

Use cloth electrical tape instead..... and as stated shorter bolts & cover them with high density foam tape..
