Hmm, can't say I've seen a "grandpa gold" LX570, wasn't aware that was a stock paint option. Looks pretty good with the bronze wheels!
Love the name grandpa gold. I hadn’t seen that color either till I purchased it. I had been searching for an lx on and off for 4 years and still have not seen another one

I decided against 35"s for this round and went with 285/75-17 - ridge grapplers which are spec'd at 33.86 - so 34's... Interestingly enough they measure out under weight to right at 33" (E rated as well @ 40PSI) on my Rig. It was a range vs tire size decision, hopefully it plays out. But should get my Diff up more anyway.

I did the fender triangle thing cut on the front and bent the support bar back some for clearance.. But will have to install the KDSS Re-Location kit from Trail tailor to clear it as it just barely Touches...

Does anyone know what a 35x11.5"-17 actually measures out to on a 200 with Bumpers (i.e. weighted) ?

Depends on the tire pressure and the type of tire.

If I remember correctly, my kenda 35’s were 34.75 aired up and not under weight…I think they were right at 34.5” when under my lx (w bumpers, sliders, swing away, etc)

yeah, I'm bumpers, sliders, under armor, swing outs, rack, drawers, fridge, etc... I'm pretty heavy.

I didn't think it was too bad really a little over 1/2" from Spec

If you aired up closer to max, you’d probably get closer to spec…but lose ride comfort and potentially handling.

Just some info since I just read all of this and no one is running Yokohama 295/70-18 XAT

I replaced Nitto Recon 285/70-18.

Stock wheels. Dobinsons MRR 2” stock UCA

The Recon rubbed the KDSS in reverse. No issues.

Added the 295 yokos and everything rubbed.

Ordered the Spidertax spacers from Slee. Front mudflaps rubbed terribly.

Pulled the front flaps and the only rub I have is on the heads of the mudflaps screws. May take a flap wheel to them.

285/75R18 BFGoodrich KO3's on 18x9.5 +0 Volk TE37XT's. Dobinsons ~3" lift with tubular fixed caster UCA's and diff drop, Timbren Active Offroad Bumpstops, and Dr. KDSS BOTCK. A healthy amount of massaging, trimming, chopping as well. Slightly kisses the sway bar at full lock, so will be doing a KDSS relocation then I should be all good.

More pictures & info in my build thread.

Love seeing Volks on any vehicle. ♥️ I would say they should make more size/offset options for our trucks, but I know I'm too cheap to buy them anyway :hillbilly:

Initial impressions on KO3s?

They seem very comparable to my previous tire, the General Grabber ATX, which I was very happy with. Quiet and smooth on road, good in the rain as far as I've seen, and pretty nice on some mild trails here in TX. Much better road manners than KO2's I've driven on in the past. The light weight combined with the forged wheels means my MPG hasn't really taken a huge hit. They did take over an ounce or two to balance each though. May get them re-balanced and see.

:edit: deleted due to volk fanboy repetitiveness :o

Looking at this and does anybody know how (and if) they could fit 35s and have no rubbing without a KDSS relocation?

Am I missing the part of the ad that claims no rubbing?

Looking at the comments, he does mention rubbing when reversing on uneven ground. He never mentions actually stuff testing it. He also mentions what allows the 35's is a 3" lift, which tells us he knows nothing about IFS and never tested it fully stuffed.

Yes, but he says it is in a small plastic portion of the inner fender. Nothing on the KDSS valve - which is weird to me since I always felt you need a relocation kit to move the KDSS further a couple inches to the front of the vehicle so you can clear 35s when in full lock. Correct, the lift has nothing to do with it. He does mention spacers being added, but they would have to be pretty massive.

My 34s just barely hit the sway bar and KDSS arm at full lock before my relo kit. With enough offset it’s possible a small 35 like a KO2 might not make noticeable contact,
