I had the typical 1FZ front engine oil leak, so I replaced the crank seal, oil pump gasket, etc.

I would highly suggest purchasing the crank pulley tool offered by @CPACruiser, it made my life MUCH easier removing the crank bolt.

Most 80 guys go to a Alan screw when replacing that cover
And that crank bolt need to be torqued 304 FT LBs if your not aware.

Yes, thanks Broski, I torqued it to ~305 ft lbs. I followed @OTRAMM's videos on this, so shout out to him for making all the Cruiser repair videos.

Got the fan clutch and water pump replaced too. I wasn't positive the water pump came with the gasket, so I got one just in case. So, if you just need the gasket the part number is listed.

Started refurbing my A/C system. The original compressor is NLA, so I got the Denso 471-1166 and swapped out the top plate.

I also replaced the condenser, receiver tank & bracket, and one of the coolant pipes. I was concerned the new condenser wouldn't fit because it's quite a bit larger than the old one. But it fit with no issue.

Condenser P/N: 88460-60180

Love this build and baselining effort, plus you started out with a truck in great condition! Makes me shudder thinking of the South American rigs I've seen up close...and I'm from Venezuela! :p

Great work and super cool truck !!

Thanks for shearing !

Last one for today. I replaced the overflow tank while I was in there. Now off to disassemble the dash to clean up the evaporator and replace the heater coil. Wish me luck....
