Got the evaporator and housing finished up. The evaporator is NLA, so I cleaned it up as best as I could and replaced the expansion valve and pressure switch. I bought some neoprene fabric and made a new wrap for the hose.

Evaporator shows readily available out of the GCC: 88501-60090

Not cheap, but available new OEM.
Well shoot, thanks Beno. I couldn't find one a month or so ago when I was looking. Hopefully, this one will work since I cleaned out all the crud.

So, this truck was supposedly used by the Saudi government as a work truck. One of the things I noticed when I got it was there were several thumb tacks in the dash pad. Apparently they used the dash pad as a place to pin up their papers or whatever. So I had the fun job of filling in 78 total pin holes in the pad .

The dash was a little worn too, so I went ahead and repainted the dash and dash pad while they were out. I used SEM Graphite paint for both.

The glove box was in fairly rough shape, so I got a new one and the hardware to go with it. The factory paint was pretty close to the SEM Graphite paint, but I went ahead and painted it to match the dash exactly.

Been a while since I posted, life stuff..... Anyway, made some more progress on the truck in the last couple of months.

Added an ARB front bumper, P/N 3412130. Haven't decided on a winch yet, so give me some suggestions. I have had several Warn's and have a Come Up on my GX, and like them both.

Also swapped out the chrome grill for the painted version, and got new screws and grommets for it.

Non-Chrome Grill P/N 53101-60150

I got the Warn M8000s for mine. It fit well, using the relocation bracket for the box. I did need to buy an offset fairlead though ("WARN 106880 Hawse Offset Fairlead" on Amazon). Also had to extend one of the cables to reach the battery. Used it a few times so far for stuck vehicles in the snow. Winched a full size Nissan Titan out of a deep snowy ditch with a double line pull and chains on my truck so it didn't slide forward. Not bad for a lil' truck from the desert.

Awesome, thanks @pawnthatdude for the suggestion. I will definitely check out that Warn. Those are also the lights I've been checking out, so we may have twin trucks soon!. Can you send me a pick on how you wired your ARB lights to the factory harness if you don't mind?

They are Stedi Type-X 7" Sport, not ARB. They come with a slick wiring harness and relay for wiring to the H4 socket on the brights switch (I also have the kioto upgraded headlights). For the switch I used 8416090K01 which is the same switch as the stock fog light switch.

And on the ARB bumper I switched those marker lights to LEDs I found on eBay and then wired those to the stock fog light wires left behind after the bumper swap. Not really functional as fog lights just additional marker lights at this point.

Any questions feel free to send a PM.

Got the Dobinson's IMS suspension installed. Not the funnest thing to do by yourself in the driveway, but everything went together well. One of the biggest (pleasant) surprises about this truck is that none of the bolts are rusted thanks to living in the desert .
