You show em what's up?
Funny it was my buddy’s wife. They just got it. I was a bit envious of the creature comforts for sure. They are real nice inside. I wish I had paid attention to noise reduction and heat control on the firewall and trans tunnel. Next time I guess. Imi e still has factory stereo in it, it’s so bad I don’t even turn it on.

Overall update on my project. I re did my fuse box because I gooned up by removing the pins multiple times. Wrapped and secured all the engine bay wiring. I put thermal protection on the trans cooler lines. I’m happy how it all turned out.

My @Delta VS rear bumper is supposedly being shipped any day. I can’t wait to get this vehicle outfitted and ready to go.

For the inside. I’m about to pull the carpet out and pressure wash and clean them. Had an incident with some elk meat getting left in there by mistake! Seats will be recovered and foam dressed up. So I’m finally hoping in few weeks to get it wrapped up and ready for fall.

Has anyone used any of the sound proofing products in your project?

I did. I sprayed Lizard Skin sound deadening and Ceramic Insulation, then layed MAT66 ProBlack Car Sound Deadening Mat.

When I purchased the LC, it came with a standard ARB bumper. I want to add a winch as I think it’s a must if you’re going offroad and expect to be at work on Monday! Is it possible to cut out an opening for the line and four bolt holes? Is there additional internal bracing on an ARB winch ready bumper?

Can anyone give some tips on what the proper technique to go from H (high) to L (low) gearing with the pin 7 mod done on the center diff. Thanks. Not sure of the center diff should be unlocked while transition from H-N-L or not. Thanks

I don't think it matters mechanically. Unlocked or Not.

I did it to mine. Others have done it too. Turned out very nice.

Google sound deadener showdown, the website is shut down but numerous other threads and sites reference the info from that now closed site..in short don’t cover the entire interior with an adhesive mat. Additionally coveinrg the entire interior surface can affect denting of exterior sheet metal like on the roof. Use a combination of products strategically like rolls Royce. I used MLV, CLD tiles, and a foam I can’t remember on the floor, 3m something fill in between the headliner and roof and lizard skin sprayed in the tunnel. Could I be more vague? HTH just hate to see the slather everything with adhesive mat whe it doesn’t work as well and costs as much or more than a proven result. Nice build good luck!

Well thanks for the input on the sound proofing. Guess it’s too late now. I put closed cell foam over the rubber mats. I wish I had thought about this when I had the engine out I would’ve sprayed the firewall and engine trans tunnel. I really don’t feel like dropping the headliner at this point.
