Looks like just labeling, and the type of stamping die used to punch out the head. They both appear to be the "large" ones. But from an application standpoint, the 41021 is listed as 1958 - 4/86, and the 54750 as 84 - 97. Top one is 41021, bottom 5470.
That's all I could find.

Don't know about the #'s posted above...but I have 8-'85 60 and in stock form it takes a large OEM cap. I've sold but owned '89 62 and the 62 took a smaller OEM cap...so:
8-'85 60 = large OEM cap.
'89 62 = smaller OEM cap.

Actually, several years ago I repaired my 60 raditior by replacing the top part of the radiator with the top from a 62. Works fine but I now order a 62 raditior cap for my 60.

Most after market radiators use the small cap like the late 60 and fj62.

Old thread. But.... got my new radiator cap in from rock auto and it’s much bigger than the unit in the truck (truck also suffered a collapsed upper hose tonight). It’s an aftermarket radiator. I’ll take some photos tomorrow with measurements.
