Premise #1. I don’t know squat about 100 Series Land Cruisers. I am looking at a 1998 100 Series, 1 owner, approximately 115,000 miles. The Cruiser is silver with an above average interior and no visible rust. I haven’t seen the Cruiser in person and am trying to decide if it’s worth a road trip. What’s a fair price for an early, clean 100 Series? Thanks in advance. 😊
Not my car but found this one recently on Edmunds and a few other major car search websites. Wanted to know what you guys think as it is such a cheap price. Didn't get a carfax yet. Of course if it is a good deal it's fair game if someone here snags it before me but ya know, morals? LOL (Anyone can find these with a quick search anyways) 2004 Lexus LX 470 Springfield Illinois, Black Onyx, 202k miles (Around 7k) Also I've been reading this forum for months in prep to buy my first land cruiser and I'd like to grab one hopefully within the next 2 weeks. After all the research I've done here and on reddit I've pretty much settled on a '04 - '07 LX470 based on what I really need. Decent comfort (I'm 6' 4"), no rock crawling. Mostly...
Olathe KS, LX470
Very clean and well maintained LX 470. This is my wife’s daily driver, we have owned it since 2014. We bought it from Hendrix Lexus with only 69,000 miles, has 133k now. Timing belt done around 90k. Non smoker. Must see to appreciate this land cruiser. $20,950.00 Call Jason at 913-406-1245. Thanks for looking.

2006 LX470 Mica gray with gray interior. 194K miles. Extensive maintenance history including new tranny at 184K, new AHC globes and rear springs w/ spacers, and MetalTech sliders. $19,750 Purchased by us with 181K from 92AZLX here on MUD for wife's DD and to pull a SoCal teardrop Krawler. Trailer wasn't our cup of tea, and is sold, and the wife has a 4Runner again, so Lexus needs to go. 2000 Lexus LX470 - Chicagoland - 121K Miles
Black 2000 Lexus LX470 with ~121K miles. Garage kept. No accidents, but minor bumps/scrapes. Recently replaced tires, brakes, and battery. Weathertechs in all 3 rows. Comes with 2 key FOBs, 2 standard keys, and 1 valet keycard. 2nd owner. Purchased from my friend's dad, and driven responsibly (no off-roading). Professional tint on rear windows and front windshield visor. LX is starting to exhibit signs that the Master Cylinder needs to be replaced. Those familiar with the truck know that this is a common (but pricey) issue that pops up around this mileage. Given I no longer have to commute to work, finding the repair harder to justify considering I have another car which I also barely drive. Want the next owner to be as happy as I am...
San Diego: 2006 Land Cruiser - 46K Original Miles - SW Vehicle
Will be listing on BAT next week. Giving Mud members a chance before the auction. This is a sad day for me. 2006 Land Cruiser with just 46,8xx original miles. Thundercloud Metallic on Ash leather. I'm the 3rd owner. Has been in South Texas, Arkansas and now Southern California its whole life. Zero rust. Does not seem to even have been off road. Rear seats look like no one has ever sit in them. Title in hand, clean Car Fax with no accidents/no damage. No signs of any bodywork. I have all scheduled maintanence records back to 2007. In the past 1,500 miles, the following was done: 45,284 miles - Front and rear brakes, new battery 46,714 miles - Timing Belt, Water Pump, Lube Oil Filter, Drive Belts, Brake Master Cylinder (due to age)...

Only downside I see is color, and evidently no sound from the radio/nav. Also appears to have been sitting and not driven for the laat 15 months, but well maintained up until then so shouldnt be a big deal.
2006 Lexus LX470
The time has come. I'll be passing this beauty on to someone else. This is without a doubt the cleanest 100 series I've seen for sale in a very long time. I spent well over a year searching for the right one before buying this one. Sadly, situations change and I won't be able take this one on the adventures it deserves. Maybe one of you will. Runs perfectly. I've owned 3 vehicles with the 4.7 and this one has by far the most "get-up-and-go". Don't know why that is, but it's strong. Southern truck, NO RUST. 141,XXX miles. Shifts like butter. AHC works great. Rear DVD entertainment. Timing belt and Water pump done. Common things we all know to look for, this one checks all the boxes: Heater hose T's no staining/leaking...
2001 Lexus LX470 155k $17,500 Ogden, UT
2001 Lexus LX470 w 155,000 miles. Going to buy a different vehicle. We bought this as a daily driver for my wife back in June 2016 at 119k miles and right away took it to the shop for timing belt, water pump, etc (see details below). Also installed new tires, still tons of tread left. I bought it while living in Texas and moved to Utah Jan 2020. It has only been on the snowy roads 2-3 times out here. It also comes with Heatshield windshield visor, front door visors and a rear window visor. We have always kept it garaged. Rust areas were pressure washed, wire brush drill, wire brush by hand, rustoleum rust reformer/converter, rustoleum black paint and in October will get sprayed with fluid film. $17,500. Located in Ogden, Utah Here...
https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/ctd/d/phoenix-2006-lexus-lx-470-lx-service/7199190998.html Greetings! Long time lurker since I got my LX450 10 years ago. As apparently many others are, I too am looking to upgrade to a 100 series. This one has been advertised for several weeks but I haven't seen or driven. Photos good, records are extensive, but appear to be two pricey conditions to consider. Needs new Skid Control ECU, and VSC Light. From the limited searching both of these appear to be significant. Any thoughts?
I've been looking for a clean 100 series for awhile now and stumbled across this ad. Seller included a video and it appears to be really clean. Price seems high, but not outrageous from other vehicles I've seen in the 13-16k range. I read of people buying 100's for 10k and under that don't look terrible. So I'm questioning myself... Thoughts? I've always wanted one of these and continue to learn about the platform. It will serve as toy and occasional DD. https://www.handsomemotors.com/2345_V20200925103507/Charleston/2005-TOYOTA-LAND-CRUISER-for-sale
‘86 FJ60 for your 100/LX
I bought this FJ60 a month ago from the LandCruiser Marketplace FB page and had it transported from Texas to Mississippi. Life has happened (3rd baby on the way) and circumstances warrant me making some changes. My wife and I decided a 100/LX would suit our growing family’s needs much better than this 60. I love this truck already, so it hurts to do this. The previous owner put a lot of love and hard work into bringing it back to life. They know my situation and support it. Not flipping the truck since looking for a trade. That said, I’m looking for a straight trade title for title. My 60 for your 100. Located in Mississippi. Details on the truck below: 1986 Toyota FJ60 Land Cruiser This truck runs and drives great! It has a flat tan...
Greetings! Long time Jeep guy who wants to get a Lexus after some convincing by a buddy of mine. I’m currently living in Jacksonville, FL and am looking for a vehicle in the 8k or less range depending on the condition. I don’t plan to do any “overlanding” but we’re moving back to South Texas and the wife agrees this will be a better setup for beach cruising and surfing with the baby (planning on a rhino rack with batwing awning). Looking for something with a nice interior and a good service history. Planning on immediately doing an AHC delete and timing belt if necessary. All in, I’d like to keep it about 10k to start...more mods down the road. I understand that may be a tough budget to achieve, but I’m willing to drive or fly to pickup...

Beacon NY: 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser
Hi there, Looking to pass this unicorn on to the next lover of LC's Time for me to move on due major changes, all for the better. Been over serviced since purchased. Purchased from an Air Force jet mechanic in Texas. Totally rust free at purchase. Owned 5 years in NY/NYC. Garaged, not a DD. Price depends on the "extras" (tent, fox wing, fridges etc.) wanted/needed. Originally built to do the Pan-American hence the extensive service. (Picture OBX around 2018) Opps, ran into a limit of pictures. Fun times! Services (Dont want to post all of it online with all my personal info will provide all to buyer.) Just an example of the love: American Express Transaction Details / January 1, 2014 to June 9, 2015...
I told my mechanic that I would help him sell my old Land Cruiser. The engine recently seized due to a faulty part, and he doesn't have the time or desire to replace the motor. It's got around 210,000 miles on it, newer K02s, and fresh brakes. The rest of the powertrain is in proper 100 Series order. Thanks to Michigan, the liftgate is pretty rusty and needs to be replaced. Based on what the auctions are doing, he thinks he can get $5,000 by shipping it, but I'd rather help him see it go to a good home, so to speak. What do you guys think?
(Anchorage) 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser - $9500
1998 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series, 4.7L V8 (2UZ-FE engine) 212k miles This is an adult-owned, professionally maintained Land Cruiser in excellent mechanical condition. Everything works like it should. It is maintained by Kendall Toyota of Anchorage. The vehicle runs perfectly and needs nothing; includes two sets of the original toyota wheels; one with nokian studded tires and one with summer tires. The truck is surprisingly fast and the alignment and wheel balance are perfect; it will go 100 mph comfortably on straight roads. It is ideal for camping excursions in the summer, and with the studded tires, it is unstoppable in the winter. It is full time 4-wheel drive with low range and locking center differential. The front and rear...
Athens, GA: 2002 LX 470 For Sale - REDUCED PRICE
Selling our first LX 470 for $8,500 after upgrading to a newer 570 recently. Has 205,000 miles and in great mechanical condition. Color is River Rock Green Micah with gray interior. Equipped with heated front seats and touch screen navigation. A few cosmetic upgrades will bring her back to life. Please note in posted pictures that there are some cracks in the leather on the front seats and spots of blistering on the clear coat, particularly on the hood. The telescoping antenna needs to be replaced (our mechanic quoted this to be around $150). Third row driver side seat needs some work to be put in (we had it removed by a dealer free of charge), passenger side goes in and out fine. Heavy maintenance has been performed to keep her...
Is this a fair price?
Currently looking at a 95 LC with 193k for $18,000 and an 01 LC with $127k for $17,000. Both vehicles are one owner with extensive maintenance records and are completely rust free as they’ve been in Arizona their whole lives. Are these prices fair or do they seem pretty high? I’ve been looking at cruisers for a few years now and know they tend to run above their book values but these prices seem a bit high in my opinion. Just wanted to get some more opinions before going through with one of them.
