Ive looked at other classifieds for modded LX470s for comparison and this seems fair enough?
I can add up about 10k of parts at least added onto the car not including labor, I feel like I would do most of this work anyway so why not? I inspected the vehicle and its in excellent shape inside and out, drives fine, no signs of rust. Any advice would be very welcome!

My life has become insanely busy and don't have any time or money to put into this truck.
I am also traveling a lot and will be moving to a big city where this truck is not going to work for me at all.
Not perfect but is a great opportunity for someone looking to do a build or make a daily driver.
Has some bumper scrapes, a fender dent, a dent in driver’s door, little stuff throughout that is commonly seen on these trucks.
Currently throwing P0302, P0308, and P0300 Codes. Was planning to replace those plugs and coils myself, I simply don’t have the time or money to put into it.
Three coils were replaced at the shop earlier this year (all Denso) and I have another brand new Denso coil to include.

Hard to sell this truck it has been an amazing vehicle. I bought it as a trade in from a dealer who got it from the original owner. It had never been off-road prior to me. Since then I’ve put a lot of money and time into this truck. It has taken me literally around the US Canada and Mexico a couple times. I drove this 15,000 miles in 4 months from California to Canada over to Maine down to Texas and back up to Washington. It’s been to Baja and back several times on surf trips too. Never left me stranded ever. Still averaging 16mpg.

I’m the second owner. Bought it in 2017 with 143k miles on it. Currently has 179xxx miles on it and I use it as a daily driver. (I don’t drive much though) It was used as a family hauler before me and I never took it off road. I have full service records from Toyota dating back to the original owner.
The good:
Used as a daily driver and kept up with service whole life

Almost Full service records dating back to previous owner. He spent a bit of cash on this rig before selling.

Great looking and reliable 100 series Land Cruiser. Has some wear and tear expected in a vehicle with nearly 310,000 miles, but overall presents very well and receives good maintenance. Last major service was conducted in 2018 at 270,000 miles. We have owned it since 2012 and it has never been offroad to our knowledge. Still drives very well, better than some brand new SUVs. Selling because family hauling duties have been taken over by a truck camper.

-130000 miles- water pump, thermostat, timing belt done along with clear coating of paint.
-140000- AHC removed, oil filter and oil changed, new OME torsion bars, new rear coil springs from Slee off-road, new total chaos UCA’s, new king shocks with reservoirs in the front and rear, diff drop from Slee, method race wheels with new BFG KO2 305/65r18 tires, brakes flushed with new fluid.

This truck was traded in yesterday and I convinced the GM to let me post it on Mud.. because the undercarriage is so clean. The owner's AHC was replaced with Strutmaster suspension but he kept the stock torsion bars. Probably premature to list it but Monday I'll get it in the shop for a full inspection. The plan is to add LC torsion bars to get the front end up and a diff drop ..thinking it would be lifted down the road.
I built the new HID headlights about a year ago and the truck is really clean for a 225K truck. I have not done a complete inspection but did find two issues. Drivers seat height control does not work and rust hole on the tailgate.. will be sold as is but will pass VA inspection cleaned and detailed. I'll post more...

Been reading the forum for a while and have been searching on and off for a bit, but now I’m ready to commit. Looking to buy a 2000+ Lexus LX470.
Leaning towards a 2000/2001 model with no navigation, but open to anything. Would prefer somewhere in the 150k mile range, but would consider higher mileage if it’s in good shape. Budget is up to $14-15K for the right rig.

I am the 2nd owner and have maintained car well . I worked at a Lexus dealer when car was purchased by older gentleman. 5 years ago i bought it and at 300k I replaced the engine with a used engine from TLS auto recycling in Rancho Cordova. The engine I purchased from TLS had 149k miles that I verified by VIN. When tranferring Engine I replaced Mounts, Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets. AC condensor was replaced along with AC compressor as the engine was out it was much easier to replace these compoents. Originally car was serviced at Lexus dealer where I was employed at the time. Figured I would give a whirl.
I am looking to trade (possibly sell for the right offer) my 2000 LX470. It has around 283K mileage, timing belt service has been recently done . It has an OME 2.5” lift with Falken Wild Peak AT3W 285/70/17 Sitting on Tundra Rock Warrior wheels. The interior was replaced by the PO as well as all of the work done in the pictures. There is also a BajaRack with the Baja light bar attachment for the front of the rack which hold 4 7” lights.
Cons:
