Looking to buy a landcruiser 100 series, preferably with aftermarket suspension and lockers. Mileage not an issue with proper maintenance records. Minimal rust ofcourse. Will be interested in a northern rust belt rig for the right price, if it is just surface rust.
In the market seriously and can buy ASAP if the rig suits my needs. Don't care for 2nd or 3rd row seats either, as long as the driver and passenger seats are in good condition.

The Wreck:
I was driving from Steamboat Springs, CO to Denver, CO, and the conditions turned horrible coming over Rabbit Ears pass. I was due for new tires and I lost traction coming across a long bend, and it began to slide sideways across the highway. The passenger side tires hit a very large snow bank—when the Land Cruiser hit the snow bank it rolled right away, skipping 95% of the passenger side, impacted on the roof, and rolled back on the driver side. I towed it back to Denver and have had it sitting in my driveway since the accident.

Just upgraded to a 200 and now the LX has to go.
2001 with 237,000. We have owned it for 5. Years and it has been a great vehicle. Everything works great, but by no means is it perfect. Bumps & bruised on the out side but nothing major. Carpet has stained and the front seats need recovering. This would be a great rig for someone wanting to wheel a LX. Located in DFW area. Mud price 7k. I will post more pics this evening.

Looking to sell my LX 470. Recently overheated, engine is done. It has almost 420,000km on it. I am really trying to avoid sending it to the scrapyard, it would be a waste. I don't want to part it out, you purchase the entire LX. Price is $4500.
The good stuff:
Body and interior are in great shape

4x4 still works, transfer case no problems

The AHC system is also toast. I am almost certain the nitrogen in the accumulators have been depleted, was planning on doing a swap for a conventional setup.

My Black 1998 UZJ100 with 198k miles and a OEM Rear Locker. It has been a Southern truck it's whole life (Alabama and Mississippi), so no rust. Currently in Madison Mississippi.
Since I have owned it, I have replaced the suspension with Ironman Torsion Bars, Old Man Emu 866 Rear Springs, and Billstein Shocks, giving it about a 2.5 inch lift. It is riding on 275/70-18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on Tundra Steel Rims. I still have the original wheels with 275/70-16 Maxxis Bighorns. It also has an ARB 2000 Awning mounted and I have made a sleeping platform for the back. I still have the 3rd row.

Could use your help, 100 series friends. I'm about to buy an 03 LC, grayish-light-blue, with 180k miles from a friend. I'm more of an 80 series guy and don't know my 100 series prices as well. It's an AZ vehicle with zero rust, gray leather interior in good shape, with no rips or tears. No DVD player. NAV. No AHC suspension. Bone stock. Paint is good, appears to have been garaged. Timing belt done back at 85k miles, but will need to be done again soon.
What would you say is a fair price for the vehicle I have described above?

I am toying with the idea of trading my 80 for a 100 series. I love the 80 and its been everywhere with me but, kids, changes in life, blah blah blah....you guys have heard it before.
Right now I am only interested in trading for an 100 for simplicity reasons. Its my only vehicle and I need a vehicle to transport the kiddo around. Also, I'm hoping there is THAT guy/or gal out there that secretly wants to get into an 80 and out of their 100 :)

I am looking at selling my 2006 lc. I bought it 5 or so years ago from a gentleman in California. I am the 3rd owner but talked to the original owner while deciding whether to buy the truck or not. Truck has been well maintained full timing belt replacement was done per schedule as well as general maintenance. Synthetic fluids throughout no leaks. I replaced the ahc with ome when I bought it as the ahc was showing signs it might need work. I bought the truck at 103000 miles and it now has 137000 miles. She runs like a champ as you would expect at the mileage. Smooth quiet and no mechanical issues. New battery and a/c recharge within the last few months. Tires are still quite good I have been rotating the spare in to prolong their life...
