My partsguy/fellow Cruiserhead recommended 200 series wipers when I went to order refills from him. Said they're better and the refills are cheaper. They're def. longer than the 100 stock ones.
Installed some BenCC fog light inserts with Diode dynamics sports, highly recommend. Ordered these a year ago and the wrong ones were sent out. He sent out the correct ones asap. Wish I needed more stuff from him cause I would 100% buy from him over and over.
made new front skid, tweaked centre skid, painted / coated them both, refreshed the lower front arms with new bushes and BJ'S, cleaned and coated the lower arms!

I did not! were those supposed to go inside the frame rail?? I was under the impression they went between the bumper and the frame. I wasn't a big fan of the directions, I would have preferred a video.

I was at Sturgis this year with my 01’ LX470. Complete loss of brakes with that darn buzzer.
The line break was at the coil of brake tubing, under the booster to the frame brake run.
I didn’t have another 3 weeks to wait for the OEM.
I ended up buying 3/16x24” steel line with the correct treads at the O’Reillys parts store in Sturgis, South Dakota. Used my tow receiver ball and their various circular shapes for bending by hand.
3 cans of dot3, 10mm flare wrench and bleeding, made it home.
Replaced a broken side marker light. Now I’m going to have to do something about the aging of the reflective coatings of the headlights too. You never realize how much luster has been lost until you see what new use to look like. I only broke one, but decided to replace both sides while I was doing it.

Got them from toyotapartsdeal.com for $64 each. Not too bad.
When you ordered the headlights were they the glass lenses ones? I can’t seem to find that description in the listings yet and don’t want to swap mine for plastic ones if I don’t have to.

Decided to check my wheel bearings as part of chasing a “wah wah wah” I get from 45-55 mph. I repacked then 25k miles ago, and the Timken bearings only have 85k since new. No play at all. The nuts were hand tight. Right side black grease around the bearings. Driver side I was greeted with dark black grease on outer, and red on inner. Outer bearing was shot. I couldn’t get a good bearing today, the best was a Napa Chinese one. I’ll change it out next repack. I’m baffled how that bearing wore out so fast. I’m pretty anal about following the book on this job.
Installed a Icom 208h I picked up for $200 off marketplace. Missing the faceplate cable so I soldered in TRRS connectors. Faceplate went on an aluminum panel above the homelink, body case took the place of the CD changer.
I took apart the cd changer and recycled the lid so it still looks stock:
