Details:
  • Bone stock.
  • One owner
  • Dealer maintained.
  • Gray.

$24,900 on CL
$24,500 to the MUD community.

Imperfections:
  • East Coast car. Minor surface rust and corrosion visible in a few areas. I will get detailed pics as soon as we get a sunny day and I take the rig out for some photo ops.
  • Numerous small nicks and chips in paint.
  • Couple of door dings.
  • Dent in the DS D pillar.
  • Two small dents in rear tailgate. Looks to me like the tailgate was opened while something was sitting on the bumper.

A few pics of the imperfections:

Sweetening the pot for a buyer interested in building the perfect expedition rig:
My agency works in the automotive industry and has access to wholesale pricing on numerous brands. I will extend this purchasing power to the new owner of this rig (within reason).

Do you have a link to a listing with photos? The photos posted here don't appear. I'd like to see the underbody to see how bad the east coast rusted it up. If its good, I'm ready to buy.

Yea, I'm not sure why the images don't show up any more. I'll repost the CL ad tonight and send you a link. I'll also get on a creeper underneath the truck when I get home and shoot some shots of the undercarriage.

I've added photos of the undercarriage. Scroll to the bottom of this album on Google Photos.

It's an east coast rig. I believe what I'd been told about the PO and the fact that this rig saw little winter use, but it's still an east coast rig and it's got surface rust. No getting around that.

What I was NOT notified about before I bought this truck was that the oem roof rack was broken. Apparently a garage door had dropped onto the roof and snapped the rear driver-side foot and creased the top of the roof ribs. The creases are purely cosmetic - no breaks in the paint. I still had the oem rack in storage from my white '03, so I replaced the broken foot and missing crossbar. The plastic cap for the driver rear foot stills needs replacing. I haven't ordered the $75 dollar plastic cap yet as I'm waiting to figure out what the next owner will want. I'll either replace the cap, or order a whole new platform roof rack at a discount depending on the next owner's intended use for this rig.
