The body of the truck is a 2010 79 series pick-up that I originally purchased from Proffitt's cruisers. I paid for one of their nicer bodies and I have to say that it arrived in really nice shape.
In addition to the body that came from Proffitt's, I have also sourced additional 79/70 series parts for the build. These include:

As I continue to make room for a new project, I have a 2000 Ford Excursion Limited with 7.3 power stroke for sale. Fully loaded, Leather, rear ac, 3rd row seat, brake controler, tow packege, tinted windows. New BFG all terrains, New Rotors and pads front and rear, New Ball joints, new rear pinion seal, 8 new injectors and glow plugs. 163,000 miles. Looked very hard for a clean truck and this one is very nice. only minimal wear on the drivers seat. everything works as it should. SAS with 1985 axle house modified to fit an Elocker with 5.29 gears and 30 spline axles, six shoot knuckles, 2" ram assist steering, chromo hubs, rock rings, and creeper gussets.
The rear axle is a trail gear rock assault housing. Equipped with 5.29 gears and a Detroit no-spin locker. Rear axle also has a rear disc conversation.
3" trail gear springs, shackles, and 14" 5150 shocks
240k miles on dash, 60k on rebuild, less than 5k on a new factory Toyota head, radiator, electric fan, full exhaust from the motor back, LC intake, and tune up kit.
Auto tranny with inchworm adapter plate, dual case (4.70 & 2.28) all held up with front range off road crossmember and skid plate. Also has custom made long...

it is a 1998 4runner 4x4 with 180k. 3.4l V6, Auto transmission with e-locker. Recent timing belt, water pump, hoses, cam/crank seals, tune up, fluids, and lower ball joints. All services up to date as I work as a service advisor at a Toyota dealership.
Mods include..budbuilt skid plates, Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift, TJM bumper with Smittybuilt winch, rock sliders, 285/65/16 Kelly Safari tires with 8k on them, 1 inch body lift, Scion 1815 stereo, external trans cooler, and more I am forgetting.

$5500.00 OBO 1985 Toyota 4 runner 5 inch lift, 35” Goodyear 75% tread, dual cases, ARB front and rear. I built this truck about 7 years ago when I lived where there were lots of rocks to crawl, I moved in mid 2007 to a place where there are no rocks to crawl so it has been used twice in four of the last six years. And maybe 20 times in the first two years. So there is little wear on the new parts. The body however is beat, that’s just part of rock crawling. I’m selling it so someone can use it for what it was built for, instead of sitting in my shop collecting dust. Here is a parts list and prices of what I paid at the time I built it.
