The highest point on the Cassiar is Gnat Pass, 4000ft ish.
Fridays miles driven, longest drive for this trip in one day
Overnight in Haines Junction. Filled up then headed out. Right off the bat had a 3rd gear grade that was close to 10mi long. This pass is the highest between Whitehorse and the border at around 3000ft.
Stopped in at Destruction Bay to get some breakfast. When we came out there was some diesel leaking from the rear tank. When I fill up both tanks I will run 100km off the rear then switch to the front and run that down first. So I was thinking that there must still be some fuel in the filler neck so switched back to the rear. Made a few stops to check and it kept leaking. The back was covered in a light coating of diesel and dust. Wasn’t how I wanted to rust proof the rear of the rig

US customs. The officer asked the usual questions and when he found out I flew for AA he starts talking about how he likes AA, his first flight was on AA Detroit to Buffalo, NY, on a Boing 707. Anyways he finally had to answer a phone call and let us loose
Tok to Glennallen. Taking less pictures since back into familiar territory

Second longest miles driven.
Got home 6pm AK time.
All washed up, cleaned the diesel off the back. The leak stopped somewhere between half tank and quarter tank. Ran that tank down to where the needle was sitting on the stop. One more thing to do on the rig.
Some poser shots, the sun was on the wrong side so didn’t get the kind of shots I wanted.
