That's nice. I'm going to be out on Long Island next weekend for a wedding. Depending on where it is, I might be able to stop by and see it.
 
The rear sill has been patched. The driver's side rocker panel is eaten away. It has some very good points to it, though. If the owner isn't working Saturday, I'm going to drive it and have a mechanic look at it. Thanks again, Woytovich, for going to see it with me and giving me some advice.
 
I took it to a mechanic to put it on a lift. The frame is solid. I have pics of the body rot. It runs and shifts very well. Got some leaks but not too bad. Only leaves a 3 square inch mark on the garage floor. I know it would cost about $2k to fix the rust. I will make an offer but I'm not sure he will go for it.
