want to trade for 1985 4Runner

okay this is what i am thinking. I have a 93 Toyota Pickup that you can see in my for sale thread in my signature, pictures are availible there too. I would like to trade outright for an 1985 4runner. My pickup IS NOT in the exact condition that the other forsale ad states. It started leaking ALOT of antifreeze. I took the motor apart down to the heads(didn't not remove the heads) and couldn't find a problemI cannot see where the fluid is leaking from. It was coming from somewhere near the rear as it was running off of the tranny while setting still. If i were to guess i would say it is a heater hose or possibly a freeze plug due to the quantity of fluid leaked in a short time. PM if t here are any more questions about the...

I literally used this ONE TIME for Moab Easter Jeep Safari ( 700 miles round trip ) last year. 14 footer, overall about 17 feet long with the tongue, PERFECT FOR ANY JEEP WRANGLER OR FJ40 SIZED RIG. It's all aluminum, sharp looking and VERY LIGHTWEIGHT! Tandem Axle each rated for 3500 lbs. I think the trailer is rated for 5-6k lbs. The trailer itself weighs roughly 1200 lbs. I posted this in the Diesel forum as well. I'm thinking of selling my 13BTJ60 to make room for a 1HD-T conversion in an 80. Just wanted to see what kind of interest there might be on this board. Some specs: 1987 FJ60 13B-T direct injected turbo-diesel (purchased from G&S in 2005) H55f 5 speed transmission shimmed turbo waste-gate (6mm) dual battery set-up with Painless Wiring isolator stock suspension 26-28 mpg highway and 18-20 mpg city eDead interior The rig has ~275K and the motor/tranny about ~75K. The rig is pretty clean: no rust and no dents but the typical rock chips up front. Interior is clean to very clean but not perfect. Hey I am posting this up for a friend. He is in need of a vehicle to drive. Right now he has an 88 Honda Civic and it needs more work than what its worth. He is looking for under a thousand bucks. Wife is hinting at a new vehicle for long trips, so i might need to get rid of one of the toys. its an '82 BJ60, 4 speed, no power steering. Picked it up mid summer locally, and the wife has been driving it daily since. Not much has been done short of a few fluids changed. Starts every time (needs to be plugged in below -5 or 6) And is great of gas. Its body is functional, the rear gate is pretty rough though, She has had it in 4x4 a few times this winter and it appears to be working. Tires are mighty close to needing to be changed. there is 333,000+ km's on it.
