Looking for a diesel cruiser in southern bc. I figure an '80's 60 series would be my best bet but I'll look at whatever you've got. It must be a manual trans. Prefer 5 speed/power steering/6cyl. Higher mileage/minor rust not a big issue. Off road mod's an asset.

I am selling my 1987 BJ74 LX 13bT. It has a Grey Exterior and Brown cloth interior. Comes with power mirrors, A/C, 31" Geolanders, Off road lights, FRP top, PTO winch, Cable Lockers front and rear, full floating rear diff. The center of the hood is a little faded, nothing major, has 2 minor dents and has been rust checked. There is no visible rust on it and has been very well maintained since I got it. There are absolutley no mechanical issues with it and it comes completely original, the only thing I have done to it is added a rad hose heater. I am asking $19,500. I am in Edmonton,AB CANADA. Looking for a good non-rust area vehicle.
80 or 100 Should be locked, close to stock, low miles. 40 needs to be original in good condition, will consider wrecked, bad engine, etc on a 40, not on 80 or 100.
I want to build / restore a 40 for a project. I want another 80 or a 100 for wife's daily driver.
80 with 150k miles or more should have new head gasket, (with proof), or expect to adjust your price by $1500.
100 with 100k miles or more should have timing belt and starter replaced or expect price to be adjusted by $1500.
Willing to pay kbb.com trade to low retail, depending on vehicle's value to me.
Mods are cool, but do not expect me (or anyone else) to pay you for them. Most mods do not translate directly into...

I just had a mechanic look at a Sage 40th in North LA for 10,000 OBO very motivated seller from africa. Some story about needing money as he is moving back to Africa soon. Might take as low as 8,000. Only has 111,000 miles and the interior was ok.
Problems:
-CEL
-Bondo work on front driver side fender, door, near rear bumper. +other dings and chips in the bondo now.
-"lots of oil leaks" from pan and rear main
- needs brakes
-heavy black coating of exhaust tip like it was burning old real bad
-He has not smogged it or registered it for a couple years and uses dealer temp tags to drive it. Gets a new set when they expire from his buddy at a dealer.
Could be a good buy...
