1984 Chevy K30 Crew cab 4x4 truck with a built 454 big block 4 bolt main block forged crank Forged pistons headwork done New radiator and all engine accesories new dual baterry with a switch to run 1 or 2 batts. Edelbrock intake and carb. Doug Thorley tri y headers into dual 2 1/2" aluminuzed exhaust exit way out back with flowmaster mufflers. Motor cost nearly $4000.00 has about 4000 miles if that. Trans turbo 400 fresh with new trans case. Dana 60 front end with 4.10 gears corporate 14 bolt rear. 6" lift with brand new crossover steering just installed last month. I'm looking for a decent 60 series. most important is a solid frame and drivetrain. while we'd all love the perfect truck for the perfect price, i'd rather have to tear into the body than the mechanicals right away. i'm looking to spend 2500-3000 on it and can travel about 120 miles before my girlfriend will say that she wont drive me :P. Looking for a diesel Cruiser that is in the US or can be legally imported. No rust buckets please. Would prefer a bj40,bj42, or bj70. Am really leaning toward the bj70 but hard to find good one that is importable.
Also would consider bj60 or hj60 and Cruiser diesel conversions.
Don't have a problem with rhd's.
Also heard that it was easy to drop in a L series diesel in a 4 cyl. Toyota pickup. But heard that there there was problems with the engine heads. Might be interested in such a vehicle if could learn a little more on them and how durable the engine is.

Well we are getting my son an SUV, so we need to sell his Silverado. The vehicle is in great condition, has new BFG All Terrains and Husky tool box on the bed, also new. It's a Texas Edition Silverado extended cab, Blue in color and runs great. We bought it for $16,000 and will sell for $14,000. He's had it for less than a year, but I figure the loss is ok since he's gotten good use out of it over the open road.
We are getting him the SUV because he is in a fraternity for young men called DeMolay, and he travels a lot in Texas being a state representative, and has to haul a lot of other young men around with him occasionally. Can't do that in a Pick-up of course.
