My father bought this truck brand new in 1988 and I grew up riding all over in the back seat of this truck. It has very sentimental value but it must go so I can move on to my next project. The ac blows cold, heat blows nice and hot, very extensive records. My dad babied this truck and passed it on to me and I have taken great care of it. It is in great shape to be 20 years old...I would like to trade for an FJ60 that is in equal shape. To give you an idea of the price range it is worth, I am asking $4,750 for this rig. Other trucks in this shape are getting between $4,500-5,000.

It has been awhile since I have been on here since my last Cruiser hit the road last spring. Anyways, I know the rockcrawlers like the Dana 60's so I thought I would post up.
I have a 1 ton truck that I traded for with big ideas. Reality dictates that I don't need a 1-ton crewcab or even the pieces. It is not running at this time. I took it for the Dana 60 front axle and other parts. I was told it had some clutch issues. It is complete but rough.
The basics are as follows:
Dana 60 front axle with 4.10's
14-bolt rear
465/205 manual transmission
Small Block that supposedly ran good
4 nice matching aluminum 16" wheels that are current in design.

Only 2400 miles, black/chrome, just like a new one, only cheaper:) Wife won't ride it, so it's out the door, asking 4000. Aftermarket sissy bar, leatherlyke bags, Memphis Shades quick release windshield, all in all about 500 bucks worth of accessorys.

1988 FJ 62 For Sale, 130k One small spot (dime size) of rust on very bottom of tailgate. New fuel tank, rebuilt front brakes, new wires, plugs, cap, PCV, seats are recovered in tan vinyl. AC works good. Needs speedo cable ( no-functioning for past 4 weeks), paint is very faded $4,000

The truck has the 3.0 V6 with automatic transmission and of course it is 4wd. The odometer reads 151,xxx miles and is accurate except for the transmission.
It has 4 super low mileage Michelin 31x10.50x15 LTX ATs they have less than 10,000 miles on them and you cannot tell they have that much,
The transmission was replaced app. July 2005 with a low mileage transmission. Both headgaskets were replaced Jan/Feb 2005.
The 4wd works great and has never been mistreated. This truck has been used as a DD between work and home and an longer trip back home. The truck has never been stuck and very rarely ever saw any MUD.

Please don't excommunicate me from the Toyota community. I own a '74 fj40 so I hope that allows me to post my other truck. I cannot justify keeping both, so the Travelall is going up for sale. It is a 1966 International Harvester. Most people think of Scouts when they think of International's. This is a Travelall. Much rarer than a Scout. It is a California black plate truck with ZERO rust. It has a 304 V8 with a 4 speed, 4x4, factory PS, PB, and the rare A/C option (blows ice cold). It is a gorgeous truck which I have now become almost afraid to drive. I have almost $19,000 invested, I will sell for $13,000 obo.
