This is a 1992 Long chassis troop carrier commonly referred to as a Troopy. It is the truck of choice on Safari in Africa and the outback of Australia if you watch any TV at all. This particular truck comes equipped with the inline 6 (3F) 4.2L, gas engine and 5 speed transmission. Has fairly new (90%) tires and alum wheels. Interior is in very good condition as is the engine. I drove it four hours from Miami with no issues. There is no visible rust on the chassis or body, Has new shock absorbers all around, new master cylinder, new brakes.
The roof tent is included in the sale.
Here are the flaws/Issues: Body work/paint is poor at best (it is horrible!) some gauges not working, No Air now but originally equipped with AC.

1974 Stock CJ5 - Bought in 2011 as a project, became daily driver, no off-roading.
Flushed/replaced all fluids in 2011, repacked all front wheel bearings and seals, replaced spring bushings. In 2014, replaced alternator, fuel pump and tank; spark plugs, wires, and distributer cap. New 33x10.5 BFGs. Have all these receipts.
Rack is clamped on, not bolted through the top. Some surface rust. Have extra parts - front grill, dashboard, and bikini top. All will be included (plus other miscellaneous minor parts that we find before the sale).
Obvious issues - Neither the speedometer nor the gas gauge work (thus the jerry can - included w/purchase). There seems to be some electrical issues with the lights (running/high/low), blinkers work...
1993 GMC Typhoon #1278 for sale all original with 118,392 has a clean Carfax and clean tittle. Interior is in very nice shape. No cracks in the dash or tears to interior, headliner is clean and not sagging. The exterior has original paint(will pollish up pretty nice) , original rims and all cladding intact and in good shape. Yes - I know great car but its a 4 door....If it was a 2 door it would easily be worth more than what I am asking for this wonderful well cared timepiece. It has original paint, driveline, interior and folks when I tell you that no one single squeak, rattle or noise from this car. The car - 44K has original mileage - there is nothing needed other than a new owner.
The car has air conditioning - and it was done so well, that it looks like a dealer installed option. It gets so cold in there, you can hang meat! It also has an electronic fuel pump. While I am a perfectionist in terms of originality; these 2 upgrades are a nice benefit.

One owner since '93 when I bought it with about 800 miles on it. Now it's just over 200k, but it still starts and runs like new. The '93 was the last year of the Stadyne mechanical fuel injection. We used it as a family car for the most part. We had an 18' travel trailer for a couple years that we towed for maybe 1000 miles and a camper for a couple seasons. It's still set up for either.
