I know this is a long shot but I am going to throw it out there none the less and just take what comes.
I am looking for a 1975-1978 FJ55. I need one with a good solid body and frame. I would like one that has had the body work all done (and done well). Having the interior done would be a plus.
I have specific plans for the drive train, suspension etc.. so none of that stuff matters much.It will all be replaced.
Does such a thing exist? Perhaps someone who started a project but now doesn't want to, or can't finish it? Like I said, I am just throwing it out there.
I am in Utah but would be willing to have it shipped to me. Willing to pay any FAIR price.

I don't really want to sell this. Just finished it to the point where it looks good, and can take the family in it. I have put in hours of labor and tons of money into this, but it just isn't being used.
I have re-built the tub (new metal bent not panels) and painted it (roller job but looks great)

I have decided to sell my 2003 White 4Runner. It is V8, auto, full power options, GREY leather, heated seats. tow package. I purchased it a little over a year ago. What sold me on it was the complete service history. The glove box had every receipt you could imagine, all from the Toyota dealer including timing belt, water pump at 90k miles. bought a used crewmax and need to sell this one. I have owned it since 20k miles. It has a snug top painted to match, a 4" lift in front and rear, 35" tires, borla cat back exhaust, superlift truspeed (for speedometer adjustment). New front brakes (rotors and pads) less than 1500 miles ago. Pretty good shape inside and out. 2000 4x2 model, tan inside, limited, 106k miles. Will include the records I have a clymers manual somewhere that will be included. Also has an autopage alarm with two way LCD remote. I did have auto start installed but it had problems working so it has been disabled.
The negatives:
It has a broken left front strut, will need new tires soon, needs an alignment, check engine light is on due to some emissions...

I picked it up because it was straight and the frame was very clean. It shifts smooth and the brakes do their job. The only rust is on the lower valence. It need engine work. I wouldn’t trust it as far as I could throw it. The interior is a little haggard, with a dirty aftermarket carpet. It looks like the previous owner hacked up the console where the stereo goes. The dash doesn’t have any cracks and the seats could be saved with a good cleaning.
