After going through this paperwork, the PO took really good care of this truck, mechanically anyway. Hauling kids took its toll on the interior. It's not horrible - just needs a little cleaning. I'm putting together all the "major" work done by him and will post it.

maintenence history

Brake Master and booster replacement - 2/11
Heater hoses replaced - 2/11
TPS replaced - 2/11
Brake Master Cylinder - 11/10
Valve Cover Gasket - 11/10
Rear Main Seal - 11/10
New Power steering pump - 1/09
New Radiator - 11/04
New O2 sensors - 4/04
Valve Cover gasket - 4/04
New wires and plugs and dizzy - 8/03
New T-case output seal - 10/02
New intake hose 10/02

There is more but I feel it's pointless to go back over a decade to list the egr work and 02 sensors.
There are tons of receipts for brakes and rotors along with little stuff; hoses and bushings etc etc etc.

I completed a compression test today #1- #3 was 125psi #4 - #6 was 130psi.
The PO said that sometimes the truck would randomly idle weird. I couldn't reproduce it. When pulling the plugs today I found a huge rip in the bottom of the air intake hose. I ordered a new one and will install it tomorrow.
I hope this helps sell this truck fast. I don't want to insure it more than a month. This truck is a steal at $3250.

Can you post pictures of the tires that would come with it? Is the smog done or would it need to be smogged before the paperwork could be finalized? Any reason it wouldn't make the drive to NorCal in its current condition?

best tire pics I have..

Here are a few shots of the current tires (285/75/16).
I'm not sure if you'll have to smog it to get the new title. I've got a feeling you will.
I would feel confident driving it anywhere. It tracks straight and brakes straight, air blows cold and the radio works. She needs some love, don't get me wrong. But I'm confident she'll get you home, where ever home is.

Sounds good, let me see what I can do about putting the funds together. Are the wheels grey/gunmetal or just dirty from brake dust?
