I can’t even pronounce Porsche.

My wife thinks you’re a Saint right now, stop stirring s*** up.
One for the plus column. I'll take it.

Well, it made it home! After some issues finding an enclosed trailer, I was able to get a flatbed to swing by and pick it up

What did Henry Ford say? You can have any color car as long as its blue? :D

But then my wife went with the typical "soccer mom" white SUV and F#%ked it all up!

Thank you @wngrog for all your advice and hard work. She's beautiful! My 13 yr old asked to be taken to school in it tomorrow!

Hope it cranks.

Just noticed the plate. Doesn’t look like you’re doing too bad for a 2.02. Mine was 2.75ish (BS AE) and I did have a 944 for a few years 😂.

Well, a little hiccup today. The distributor was a carry-over part from the PO and the module on it died. Car cranked great but wouldn't fire. Took Nolen about 30 seconds over text to tell me the problem and the fix. Including a video of how to fix it.

I ran to the part store and just like Nolen said, the part is on the wall by the yellow spark plug wires and chrome fill caps

Got home and had it running in 10 minutes! Easy Peasy

I only wish my wife serviced me this well!

Bump!

Road trip out to MT and WY next week. Plan to park the 250 and run around in the 40.

I'm new to towing, so any advice is appreciatted! I feel like the FJ40 is too far back, but also that the squat on the 250 is more than it should be, therefore the 40 is too far forward?

Anyone use a tongue weight scale? Maybe that's the route to go.....

40 is fine. Weight is over the axles. It’s squatted because it’s got coil springs. $150 airlift bags would be the cats ass.

Take it out on the road to test it. Mainly you want to make sure it does not start fishtailing. If you can change lanes and it follows you nicely at speed you should be good.

If you can find a place for some airbags do it. Manual fill. Easy.

Better to err on the side of too much tongue weight.

Weight Distribution hitch is very helpful as well.
