runs and drives great, in good shape, passes smog, charcoal paint with a couple of dings and dents, new tires, alarm with remote entry, nice cd player with ipod hookup, clean interrior with fold-up rear seats,.........all stock except for window tint and msd ignition box. has 214k miles on it. i replaced the 3fe with a good used one about 8k miles ago. used engine had 130k miles on it. all fluids replaced at that time, engine oil changed every 2500 miles since. ac needs to be charged, worked last year now it does'nt. slight engine oil leak. no other known issues.

191,000 miles, factory electronic lockers, 3rd row seats, It runs strong, has decent tires, and besides a few things body is in okay shape. I hate to sell it but between the Army, girlfriend, and my bike i don't really have time for it anymore so it just sits at my parents.
It does have a couple issues..Engine wise there's an oil leak from the valve cover gasket and the brake booster went out awhile back. brakes still work so I haven't fixed it, you just have to push pretty hard lol
As far as the body goes paint is in good condition but the front bumper is pretty jacked up. I found out why personal vehicles aren't allowed on tank trails about a month ago...nothing was damaged but the bumper. then there is a small dent in the rear...

My daily driver, I believe it has every option except key less entry. The only thing that's not factory are the 17' wheels are off a New FJ Cruiser, and the radio & speakers. The radio is a JVC Multimedia receiver (DVD, ipod, exc.) Very good shape, I am embarrassed to say that it's never off road but all of us know that it's very capable. PM me if Interested.

Austin , TX. based 1997 LX450 with Gold/tan interior, which received a NEW engine this year. The rig has 184k mi on the clock, and engine has maybe 50,000 mi on it. I can get exact mileage for the transplant mechanic if you request it. No mechanical issues with swap, engine isn't rebuilt to my knowledge (esp with 50k mi), no suspension issues either with lifting system, no issues with 4WD transfer. Brakes in great shape and rear pads are new. Great 6 disc stereo and all interior electric features 100% with the exception of a slow window in the rear. Jumpseats in 3d row in great shape. I have been parting this out in the parting out section. I have sold most of the major parts or taken them for my own project. Mainly trying to recoup some of the cost for the truck. Have title.
This will have to be picked up on a flatbed trailer and or tow truck.
Basically a banged up body/interior frame engine/tranny/t-case. No axles or supsension. High mileage Engine had SC on it and has been taken off along with radiator and exhaust manifolds. No bumpers either.
Being away from this vehicle and trying to part it out thru a third party member is difficult.
Will be availabe after memorial day.
Buddy who has it at his house has extra axles and I can leave the Slee 5" lift kit on it if someone wants to roll it on a trailer...
1997 lx450 champagne for sale. Car currently has 170k miles on it. Car is in great shape has never been offroaded whatsoever. Car runs and drives great 5k miles on all new tires, no rust, and it has never been offroaded whatsoever. I have had the car for about 9 months. Car has a clean title. I did put a new oxygen sensor in it about 8k miles ago, has brand new front and rear brake pads. 8750.00 obo. Will consider trades for a Mustang Cobra, I need something that gets better mpg. Thus the reason selling. Everytime I change the oil I also drain the tranny fluid. Immaculate maintenance has been done on this car. I've been lurking in this forum for awhile now, 2+ years and have seen a handful of FJ80's for sale that have made me drool. I'm very particular, have a case of OCD, so I'm very meticulous with what I buy.
Just recently sold my ride and am in the market for a DD, but also want a very capable RIG that I can take on the trails during the weekends.
I know there are probably very few low mileage FJ80's that have been looked after and built right. Don't really have a price point set as I'm willing to pay for quality. Let me know if you have a great rig that you are willing to sell.

Up for sale is my 1994 toyota landcruiser with factory front and rear diff locks. Original 154k miles, never off roaded. A/C blows cold, leather interior, moonroof, third row seats. Paint on hood is faded (original paint). Runs great.

SOLD SOLD SOLD Selling an FJ80 that I bought last year, my daughter used it this winter and it worked great for her. She is back to driving her Civic now and the 80 is no longer needed. I bought this from a fellow Mudder from NY (it was listed on Mud classified) and paid $4200. Except for a few issues I will note below it was as represented and a downright reliable cruiser.
Mileage is appx 202K, NO LOCKERS. Didn't need lockers this winter even with all the snow in the Poconos where my daughter lives. Automatic transmission and transfer case work perfectly. Engine starts and runs great it has lot of power and is peppy for an 80. Don't know what the color name is but it's a neat and unusual shade of two tone gray. Check the photos...

I'm a newbie to the forum, but my wife and I are looking to buy a new, bigger vehicle to supplement our Subie Forester. We love the Forester, but its tranny is on its last legs, and we're going to need a bigger vehicle for our growing family anyway.
So we're looking to buy an 80- or 100-series LC, the equivalent Lexus model, or maybe a 4runner from the same years. It'll be the wife's daily driver, so not looking for a madly built rig, but we won't object to small mods either (bit of lift, aftermarket lockers, etc. probably OK). Interior intact, minimal rust, lower mileage, continuous maintenance records all would be nice; also 3rd row seats for kids and friends. Budget is probably in high 4 figures unless we really love it...
