Certain parts like radiators, CV's and steering racks... I only pick up at the dealer. This is for a 200 and this is the "bad" side. Other side is perfect.
I picked mine up at local dealer - it had a few bent fins but was minimal.
I don’t fault anyone for this but my thinking is I don’t want to ever have to use a warranty- and it’s not much good on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere.
Just received my Toyota radiator from Serra. Got it during their recent 15% off event (which is currently 25% off 😩) for about $320 shipped. That’s about $100 more than a Denso or Koyorad, but it comes with the foam blocking a new cap, and I...
Trying to chase my own faint click- it’s definitely not spark plugs or cv axles, seems to be from the rear- get a little brake whine as well, and only in reverse which seems odd
I realized a few days ago that my clicking seemed like it was coming from the rear. Took the RR tire off and the most obvious problem looked to be a bent brake dust shield. Bent it back inward. I had also replaced all of the rear sway bar...
Did you find the cause? I just started hearing this noise as well. Maybe a week or so. I was clicking on a squeal. I put my transfer case on neutral and manually rotated my wheels one by one and found my rear brake pads to be low. I did my rear...
You won’t be happy with that suspension, it will be very rough given your setup. You mix up OME and OEM in your posts quite a bit, but I think your bottom line is you’re planning on that kit, plus Toyota (original equipment manufacturer - OEM)...
Would ATRAC even operate with Torsens? Maybe for a second before the diff engaged? Or maybe the constant on/off would prevent engagement.
Hm... Now I'm wondering if the plane will take off or not.
Recently I ordered a CSF radiator from Rock Auto for my 2002 100. At just over 100 bucks and with seemingly good reviews, I gave it a shot. It lasted about 3 months and started leaking at the bottom (plastic). Rock Auto will not give me credit...
Fundamental reason why car manufacturers like Merc (Gwagon) and Toyota (LCs) sequenced their differential lockers to be 1st on the rear and 2nd on the front is for climbing/inclined obstacles. The rear is where the mass of the whole vehicle is...
Hi everyone
Hope you are well
I recently acquired an HDJ 100 - 1 HD - FTE - 2004 model, 5 spd automatic gearbox.
557.000 km on the clock - runs, drives and shifts smoothly 🤞despite needing some love for some electrical stuff and maintenance...
The core looks clean just like mine was at almost 20 years. I wish somebody offered aluminum weld-on endtanks for the OE radiator. Bet you could get another 10-20 years out of it.
Just wanted to update this thread because my original issue of vibrations and unpredictability was massively improved after installing all new OEM LCA bushings and 555 LBJs. At the same time I did new OEM engine and trans mounts. I paid $775 to a...
Hey All!
Just purchased a 2006 LX 470 with 257K miles and I absolutely love it. Based off the car fax and how it drives, it seems like it was pretty well taken care of. I have already started going through a lot of threads on what I should be...
I cannot speak for this specific model of Veepeak but you can always return it if it doesn’t work. From experience the OBD Fusion app requires the WiFi connection for apple devices (iPhone/iPad) and bluetooth for Android devices.
