This is my previous truck (bought a built '97 80 to replace it). 1st owner was a doctor's wife, and current owner is a visiting professor in my dept. This is a solid truck, and comes with studded tires on LC rims. Recent full ft axle rebuid + rotors/pads. Wanted Expedition Ready FJ80 (preferably with the 4.5L engine and with lockers)

Hi there, I've been lurking in this forum for awhile now, 2+ years and have seen a handful of FJ80's for sale that have made me drool. I'm very particular, have a case of OCD, so I'm very meticulous with what I buy. Just recently sold my ride and am in the market for a DD, but also want a very capable RIG that I can take on the trails during the weekends. I know there are probably very few low mileage FJ80's that have been looked after and built right. Don't really have a price point set as I'm willing to pay for quality. I'm still looking at expo rigs but the gf needs an easier daily - so please help me find one of these trucks - they are dam near impossible to find! SOLD SOLD SOLD Selling an FJ80 that I bought last year, my daughter used it this winter and it worked great for her. She is back to driving her Civic now and the 80 is no longer needed. I bought this from a fellow Mudder from NY (it was listed on Mud classified) and paid $4200. Except for a few issues I will note below it was as represented and a downright reliable cruiser. Mileage is appx 202K, NO LOCKERS. Didn't need lockers this winter even with all the snow in the Poconos where my daughter lives. Automatic transmission and transfer case work perfectly. Hey there, I'm a newbie to the forum, but my wife and I are looking to buy a new, bigger vehicle to supplement our Subie Forester. We love the Forester, but its tranny is on its last legs, and we're going to need a bigger vehicle for our growing family anyway. So we're looking to buy an 80- or 100-series LC, the equivalent Lexus model, or maybe a 4runner from the same years. It'll be the wife's daily driver, so not looking for a madly built rig, but we won't object to small mods either (bit of lift, aftermarket lockers, etc. probably OK). Interior intact, minimal rust, lower mileage, continuous maintenance records all would be nice; also 3rd row seats for kids and friends. Budget is probably in high 4 figures unless we really love it...

The time has come for me to put my '93 FZJ80 up for adoption. I bought this truck from a diehard Toyota man from Tornado Alley Cruisers in 2002 and have put about 40k miles on it since then (it now has 188k on the ticker). Factory electric lockers front and rear, center diff lock, Slee coils and spacers for about 3" of lift, brand new 305 Cooper SSTs, ARB front bumper and Kaymar rear swing-out carrier, home built sliders, and various other mods. A new radiator and A/C condenser are the only major things I've had to do since owning it. I replaced the starter contacts and the PHH in January of 2010. For Sale is my 1992 FJ80 Landcruiser all stock except for a 4" lift installed by the previous owner, and I replaced the rims and tires. I purchased the truck with 192,XXX miles on it and it currently has 201,XXX miles. I have owned it for 15 months as of April. The truck is not perfect It has a couple dents in the tailgate, two dents pictured on the rear passenger side body. The entire exterior silver portion of the truck was repainted at some point in it's life seems to be holding up well. All the windows and sunroof work but are slow in the winter. The ac comressor needs replaced so no ac, heater works good. Engine runs great starts up everytime. Carpet in the rear is stained normal wear on the interior both front seats are...
