I’m looking to quick sale my FJ62 and need an authentic pricing point from the people who know best. Looking to be fair, I’m reasonable. Gathering some recent photos and maintenance records. Not currently running (transmission). Heating issue previous see posts. Some new parts here and there but predominantly stock gathering maintenance binder as well. Please ih8mud fam give some input on a realistic listing price prior to offers. 277,000 miles. Minor rust and drivers side passenger door (dad backed into it with an excavator super blessed for just a little dent) but otherwise great body and frame. Looking at selling by new years. I’ve been reluctant and emotional but circumstances I want it to go to a good home and a good person. Cheers!
The vehicle I have here for sale belonged to me way back when. When I got my diesel, I sold it to my boss, who had it sitting for about 7years. I bought it back with a friend back in '21, who was going to put it back on the road. We took apart the interior and patched the two holes we found in the floor. Then it sat like that until today. The friend is dealing with health issues, the "c" word, and wants/ needs money for obvious reasons.
Now, I have attached the mud thread which shows the work that was done to this truck. While in my possession, it got a bunch of use.
I'm gonna list the good first, and then the bad.

Charles passed away ten years ago and his truck remained in his family until 2 years ago when I acquired it. My plan was to 'repair it to factory' as it needed some work to get it more road worthy. It is what it is and I am offering it as it is. I have driven in approximately 500miles. IT ONLY HAS FRONT BRAKES, I would firmly recommend a trailer pick up. It runs great, has a strong and solid driveline, the interior is respectable and the body is average, maybe a little better, but don't think there isn't rust. I think it a far better than average "project truck" and really just about an average over all example., with the big giant plus of being a diesel w/ 5 speed.

I decided I need to sell the 1984 FJ60 that I have been working on the past couple of years. I’m moving across the country and won’t have a place for it for several months after the move. I’m in the middle of fixing a timing plate gasket oil leak (that is why the grill, headlights, etc are off in some of the photos but I do have these parts not shown). I should be done with this replacement within the next couple of weeks.
I’ve done the following work on the rig since I’ve had it: replaced the master and slave clutch cylinders, new brakes all around, new clutch, flywheel, and throw out bearing, new oil pan gasket, new rear main seal, the carb was rebuilt by Mark at Mark’s off-road, new bvsv sensors...

1989 FJ62 Toyota Land Cruiser, 169k miles, always lived in Atlanta, GA area. 3rd owner and have owned it since March 2012. Clean title, pristine interior, A/C blows cold, no rust whatsoever, never been in an accident, never been off-road, no mods other than an updated center console and roof rack. I purchased this 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 in 2016 in Georgia, and it has remained in Georgia ever since. My initial goal was to have a fun project car, so I dove into upgrading and improving its performance right away.
One of the first things I did was desmog the 60, removing unnecessary smog equipment and rerouting all vacuum lines with new ones. I also sent the distributor to the well-known “Jim C” for his recurve service and replaced the distributor cap and wires. Since the distributor was being worked on, I decided to have Jim rebuild the carburetor as well.
