89’ FJ62 (not running) located in Jacksonville, FL
I’m looking to quick sale my FJ62 and need an authentic pricing point from the people who know best. Looking to be fair, I’m reasonable. Gathering some recent photos and maintenance records. Not currently running (transmission). Heating issue previous see posts. Some new parts here and there but predominantly stock gathering maintenance binder as well. Please ih8mud fam give some input on a realistic listing price prior to offers. 277,000 miles. Minor rust and drivers side passenger door (dad backed into it with an excavator super blessed for just a little dent) but otherwise great body and frame. Looking at selling by new years. I’ve been reluctant and emotional but circumstances I want it to go to a good home and a good person. Cheers!
Middletown,NY, 1994 FJ60
The vehicle I have here for sale belonged to me way back when. When I got my diesel, I sold it to my boss, who had it sitting for about 7years. I bought it back with a friend back in '21, who was going to put it back on the road. We took apart the interior and patched the two holes we found in the floor. Then it sat like that until today. The friend is dealing with health issues, the "c" word, and wants/ needs money for obvious reasons. Now, I have attached the mud thread which shows the work that was done to this truck. While in my possession, it got a bunch of use. I'm gonna list the good first, and then the bad. Good: Running and driving truck when taken apart. Has clean interior bits. Comes with a nice spare frame we were gonna swap...
BC: 1982 BJ60 'G' trim, the 'Wirrell Wagon'
Hi Everyone, Many of you who frequent the diesel forums may remember Charles, a long time admin and a member of our Coastal Cruisers club www.coastalcruisers.ca Charles passed away ten years ago and his truck remained in his family until 2 years ago when I acquired it. My plan was to 'repair it to factory' as it needed some work to get it more road worthy. I say 'more' in jest because Charle's son just drove it about a thousand miles from the Yukon with no charging system, questionable brakes and worn shocks. lol. These trucks are tough. There are several threads on Mud from Charles describing all of his work on this truck in Guatemala and Africa, it transported the family all over the world for 35 years they owned it. Here is the...
Westchester, NY - 1989 FJ62
Don't miss out on this terrific example of an FJ62! >>(THE VERY VERY) SHORT VERSION<< This is an AWESOME truck (172k miles on the dash) and I wish I could keep her. I have restored/upgraded everything that makes sense to me and she's a beauty and runs like a top. I'm asking $25,000 and have her listed locally. You can see a bunch of photos here. Here's the... >>LONG VERSION<< I purchased this 1989 FJ62 in "Beige Metallic” in September of '22 from a dealer in Tennessee based on pictures and description (I was not able to see her in person before purchase). She was my first 62 and I had previously restored a JDM BJ44 (yes, I regret selling it) and made minor upgrades to an FJ45 Troopy (that I still happily own) and currently have...
1986 HJ60 Diesel 2H w/ 5 spd DELETE THREAD
I continue to have 10 too many projects. My loss your gain. This little project has limitless potential. CLean US title, low miles, (230,00KM - 100K miles ) It is what it is and I am offering it as it is. I have driven in approximately 500miles. IT ONLY HAS FRONT BRAKES, I would firmly recommend a trailer pick up. It runs great, has a strong and solid driveline, the interior is respectable and the body is average, maybe a little better, but don't think there isn't rust. I think it a far better than average "project truck" and really just about an average over all example., with the big giant plus of being a diesel w/ 5 speed. No offers, all or none. I will have more photos tomorrow--- a variety of technical issues...

Hi Mudder Community, I’m in the market for a white FJ60 (any year, it required me to put something) with a brown interior. I know it’s a pretty specific request (and I’ve seen some great trucks in other colors), but what can I say. No rush on the search, and my budget is $20K–$34K. Must-Haves: Mostly stock No or minimal rust No huge lifts Good condition and well-maintained No project cars No body work needed Preferences: Intact emission systems “Lowish” milage or rebuild Stock wheels Located in the Northwest or West Coast I’ve looked at a number of trucks but have, unfortunately, encountered some "smoke and mirrors"—from massive rust on supposedly "rust-free" trucks to dangerous brakes and mechanical issues in vehicles advertised...

Los Angeles: 1983 FJ60 Land Cruiser
After 9 years of West Coast adventures, it's time to part with my beloved FJ60, “Pennie.” Bought from a reputable collector in Nashville, shipped to Upstate NY, then to LA—this vintage beauty has been with me every step of the way. Asking: $32,000 OBO As its third owner, I’ve kept her in solid shape, with plenty of love and care. I handle the small stuff myself, but leave the bigger repairs to the pros at Pinkies in West Hollywood who have worked on her for 6 years (highly recommended shop). Here’s the breakdown: Exterior: Great condition with just a few rust spots and small dings from daily adventures. Interior: Classic 1983 vibes, including the original radio and dashboard crack (it’s got character!). Brand New headliner as of...
1984 FJ60 - Hillsboro, Oregon
Price: $11,000 (but open to offers) I decided I need to sell the 1984 FJ60 that I have been working on the past couple of years. I’m moving across the country and won’t have a place for it for several months after the move. I’m in the middle of fixing a timing plate gasket oil leak (that is why the grill, headlights, etc are off in some of the photos but I do have these parts not shown). I should be done with this replacement within the next couple of weeks. I’ve done the following work on the rig since I’ve had it: replaced the master and slave clutch cylinders, new brakes all around, new clutch, flywheel, and throw out bearing, new oil pan gasket, new rear main seal, the carb was rebuilt by Mark at Mark’s off-road, new bvsv sensors...

For sale ‘87 FJ60 Located East Hampton, CT. I’ve done tons to it… fully rebuilt 2F plus so much more…. most of you know. Refer to my build thread for more info, Work In Progress aka Badass… Thread 'Work In Progress aka: Badass' Builds - Work In Progress aka: Badass - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/work-in-progress-aka-badass.970467/ but I’m in a place where I have to be realistic and hanging onto it isn’t helping me move forward. I’d like 8k for it. Body is obviously in rough shape so I’ll be willing to haggle. So many of you have been there for me and I’m not happy about doing this at all so be considerate. Rear spring hanger body mounts were removed, rebuilt and rotted frame was mig weld patched a few years back. I have spare parts...
My wife has finally given me the green light to purchase my dream vehicle, with a few conditions attached. She wants it to be turnkey ready to go with no major issues. I live in wyoming and travel approximately 20 miles to and from work. Roads can be bad and weather can be brutal. Really just looking for a solid reliable ride that I can enjoy and work on as issues arise with my 4 boys. If anyone has any leads or looking to part ways please reach out.
1986 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER FJ60
PRICE $11999 247k miles and counting. Great drivers landcruiser. Never wheeled. Runs very well. Original paint except right rear quarter panel sprayed after a minor dent repair over 20 years ago. I bought this truck off another mud member out of Texas in 2006 and it had approx 208,000 miles on it. Prior owner had owned since new and did regular maintenance on it replacing common parts like PS pump, smog pump, carburetor and AC compressor along with scheduled fluid changes. He also put a mild lift (1-2”) on it and replaced the clutch, radiator, motor mounts and stated he had the steering gearbox rebuilt though I do not have those records. I do have the records he sent me when I bought and they date to 1999. It was a daily driver...
Atlanta: 1986 Land Cruiser 60 Series **Price Update**
1986 Land Cruiser FJ60 $24,500 $22,500 **Price Update** 206,000 miles on the odometer Completely rebuilt engine with 16,000 miles on it I purchased this 1986 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 in 2016 in Georgia, and it has remained in Georgia ever since. My initial goal was to have a fun project car, so I dove into upgrading and improving its performance right away. One of the first things I did was desmog the 60, removing unnecessary smog equipment and rerouting all vacuum lines with new ones. I also sent the distributor to the well-known “Jim C” for his recurve service and replaced the distributor cap and wires. Since the distributor was being worked on, I decided to have Jim rebuild the carburetor as well. All coolant hoses and the...
