Looking for my "forever" FJ62 now that I've learned all about the truck and have fallen in love with them. I've budgeted $25K and am looking for something turnkey with minimal to zero rust and with the original smog equipment attached. I'm not looking for a pristine one because I plan to semi-daily it with the occasional off-road driving. I'm willing to travel to other states to test drive but am unlikely to make a purchase sight unseen unless the owner has been vouched for. Looking forward to seeing what you've got!

Hi, If you're still in the market, I have an ALL California owned, White, 1988 FJ62, with 212,xxx miles. The mileage will still "creep" up... maybe 20-30 miles a month if that. I am the 3rd owner and have had the truck since 2019 and have only put on it (sadly) 6k miles. I'm local, in Mission Viejo - Orange County, so you are more than welcome to check the truck out in person. It has been mostly sitting for the last 2-3 years as I've been really busy and away with work, though I have ran a few tanks of gas (few hundred miles) during those times, so the fuel system is clean. She starts right up (though I am replacing the battery this week) and has sat covered in an RV port. I wish I could keep it but the reality is I just have too much going on right now to give it the attention it deserves.

Registration: Registration current, CA titled.
Emissions: Passes SMOG (and has been for the last few tests) with flying colors, all original equipment on it.
Mods: Old man EMU lift, steering damper, and KO2s. Aftermarket head unit. Aftermarket antenna. Otherwise she's all original, including the windshield.
Fixes: I replaced the transmission and torque converter as it was slipping.
Known issues: A tiny little rust bubble near the front windshield that should get addressed eventually. The power antenna doesn't work and has been replaced with a fixed antenna from the previous owner.
Pedigree: I have a folder of work done with receipts and services. I've digitized it into a Google Spreadsheet and also added service items I've done over the years (fluids, oil, bulbs mostly). Original jack and tools included. Spare included.

Let me know if that is something you are looking for and we can chat.
