Looking to trade 85 FJ60 for FJ40

Hey yall, Well FJ60s got me into this group of Landcruiser nuts. My friends and I were looking for a great road-trip-mobile and we came up with an FJ60. After our 10,000 mile trip around the U.S. we were convinced that these cars were the best things ever made. But now that I'm in college and don't do that much driving I want to start building up my own FJ40. What I'm looking for is anyone with a decent shape 4 speed FJ40. The year doesn't matter that much, but I would like it to have the 4 speed. I'm looking to trade straight up for my 85 FJ60. My FJ60 has 162,XXX miles on it and runs great once is warm. Found this 1986 FJ60 on the internet and just wanted to share for anyone who would be interested. The 646 area code is New York City. 81 FJ60 for sale, Seattle $1800 obo

81 FJ60 186,000 original miles. Body has some surface rust, and lower tailgate needs to be replaced. It has brand new Pro Comp 31x10.5x15 M/T on it, and fullsize spare. New Pro Comp shocks all the around, and a reman smog pump. I think the carb either needs to be tuned by someone who knows what they are doing, or possibly rebuilt. This has been my daily driver for the last 4 mos, and I have not had any problems. There are some oil leaks, but nothing to serious. 1988 FJ62 for sale in Mississippi

Hey everybody, I got good news and bad news. The good news is that me and my wife are going to have our first child. The bad news is I have to get rid of my FJ62. The even worse news is that it's at the shop getting an engine rebuild. The body is perfect and the interior is immaculate. I have all the records and even the import invoice from the dealership in Lakeland, FL. It is the same color as Greg Thompson's and it has about 8K miles on 32" BFG's. Painted probably 3 years ago still okay. Runs good A/C ice cold. Does not smoke. Headliner wacked Front bottom driver seat Ripped and foam showing. NEEDS interior cleaned! Dash has cracks. ENGINE SOLID, Tranny SOLID, newer cooling system, carb and P/S pump per previous owner. Look at pics those items still look new. Some rust. Rig was taken on ski trips to Colorado. FOR SALE: 89 FJ62 - 187,725 mi Engine is blown with likely piston damage. Because I'm currently a graduate student I lack the time and money to undertake an engine transplant. 1982 FJ60 for sale

This a 1982 fj60, VIN JT3FJ60G7C0028992, for those of you with carfax. This truck has excellent off road and on road manners. I have replaced or rebuilt nearly everything on the truck, but due to increasing college costs I must sell it to get something that is cheaper to maintain. The power steering, smog, and water pumps have been replaced. I also replaced the cylinderhead and put on a Man-A-Free ceramic coated header and complete exhaust system, with new cat. The brake and clutch hydraulic cylinders were replaced as well. The front seats have been rebuilt, and feel wonderful,the rest of the interior is in great shape.
