one of the nicest Land Cruisers I have ever seen. The body was
totally restored by the original owner. It has only 2 small spots of rust and a
beautiful, shiny tan clear coat. It also has a very tough looking ARB
Bull Bar in perfect condition. The interior is in good shape. It has
a small rip in the side of the driver's seat (that is on every FJ60
I've seen) and a cosmetic crack on the middle of the dashboard. The
headliner and carpet is in very good shape.
Mechanically, it is in great shape. The engine is very strong and the
carb was rebuilt at 145K miles. It starts every time. The belts are
beginning to show ware and will probably need...

I must part with my 81 cruiser due to a long commute and new mortgage in Tucson AZ. It has a newly rebuilt 2F motor from ATK w/ 15k on it. The truck itself has 204,423K. This truck runs great, but needs a little more work. She has a little rust around some of the windows and the front posts. Also needs tires. Just put a 3 1/2" OME lift on it but has not been off-road. This baby has over $14k invested over the last 2 years and is maintained religously. I'm asking $4,500 OBO due to the rust. I've got a 1982 FJ60 with 120,000 miles on it. When I got it the smog stuff was all cut out, it had a rochester carb without a throttle linkage and wouldn't run. I put a stock carb on it and hooked up the linkage, capped the air-rail holes and put in a fuel pump. It will run if I dump gas down the carb but doesn't get any fuel from the line. Anyway it's primer gray and has rusted out rocker panels and the bottom of the fender right behind the rear wheels have holes. The rear bumper is rusted as well as the tailgate and hatch. Everything seems to be there and the interior isn't too bad. Just the normal rip in the driver's seat.

I'm selling my 88 FJ62 w/ 204k miles. Body is in excellent shape except for a small rust spot on the rear drivers side wheel well. Has american racing wheels with bfg at tires that have about 80% tread on them(also have stock wheels w/ tires). Engine runs great and trans shifts smooth. Interior is in excellent shape. I purchased this car about 2 years ago, from 1 family in Colorado that owned it since new. It was very well maintained and I had it checked out by the dealer before flying to Denver to buy it, sight unseen, and driving it back to Fargo.
Since I've owned it I've put roughly 30k miles on it driving it to and from work. In the past 2 months I've driven it to Mpls and back 4 times (600 miles round trip each time) and to Lincoln NE (long a$$ drive!). The car runs very strong, always starts, sits outside in the winter and never gives me any problems.

Well, I'm in a bad situation. I have an 85' FJ60. I love it to death. It has served my well for the last 2 years. When i bought it, I had the top end rebuilt, that was like, 27K ago. It has something like 168,XXX miles on it i think. Has a little rust. When i was on my way down to school last month, something with the fuel went wrong. No idea what the deal is. I acts like its not refueling the float bowl fast enough. anyway, so now it only idles with the choke pulled and it wont go past 35 MPH. I have zero time to mess with it as I'm taking calc 3, statics, circuits, physics 2 and materials science 1. I just learned that I'm gana have to give the school 3500 bucks by mid semester so I'm looking to get rid of the truck as is...

The truck has some mild rust, and some rock rash. Most of the rust is in the tailgate, and I have a top and bottom replacement tailgate of the same color from an AZ truck with no rust, just haven't put them on yet because hey - why wreck the nice ones?
It has an ARB front bumper with winch mount. Truck has a winch now, but I'm keeping that. Upgraded to HELLA...

I am looking to sell my 60. It needs work but as my daily driver she was great. I think it has a broken connecting rod-loud banging, no power, 163k on the engine. All stock 'cept for 31/10.50's. i've got a sweet fj60 on the market. it has absoulutely no rust, i checked from the inside when i refurbished all of the seats and panels. it has factory a/c, new dash, and the straight 6. i replaced all of the sparck plugs, cables, and belts. it runs well, compression around 135 lbs in all cylinders (great for 225k on the engine). i just put a brand new clutch in. the paint is new. it comes with a hitch receiver (not installed) and a front bull bar (installed). it is seriously a very nice cruiser. i have two fj60's at the time and i like the one with the V8 more so i'm selling the one with the straight 6. it also has new alcan leaf springs in the rear. it lifted it up a tiny bit, but it smoothed out the ride a ton. im in...

We are regretfully selling our brown 60, otherwise known as "Sherman". We have owned the truck for three years now and purchased her from orginal owners from Gunbarrel, Colorado. She has been great but we have only used her for big trips, some yard work, moving, and going mtn biking. I have all records since new including window stickers and other such misc things.
