Bryan, Texas 1977 FJ40
$28,000 OBO Located near Bryan/College Station, Texas. I bought this FJ40 in 2010 and it was my first full body off restoration. It's been garage kept since I've owned it. The original engine, transmission, transfer case and differentials have all been rebuilt. Speedliner on both sides of front fenders, floorboard and firewall. New tires, front bumper, brakes, fuel tank, seat covers. 4" HFS lift springs. The speedometer shows 80,889 miles. Looks and runs great! I hate to see it go, but it's only been driven 3 times in 5 years and it's taking up room in the shop.

Pueblo, CO 1974 FJ40
Hello, I am selling my fj. I got it off eBay during COVID, did a few things to it (new roof cap, rebuilt carb, new spark plugs, oil changes, added driver/passenger seats, and a center console). It came to me from Mississippi and was rhino-lined . The wiring harness is complete, just not connected. I solely used this as a mudder, off-road vehicle. I am asking 10,500.00 This is a 4-speed, V8 from a Corvette. If the pics don’t show something please let me know. Unsure of the mileage, it was exempt on the title when I bought it.
New York ,Long Island 1980 fj 40 $4200
Long story on this cruiser , I owned it 37 year ago and sold it to the person that I bought it from, guy had my number for 37 years .. in any case (he’s 78 ) calls me and says he wants to sell the cruiser . So I go and take a look at it and he rhino lined the entire truck and it precedes to eat it self from the inside out , I mean I’ve seen many rusted rigs but this one is the clear champion. But it drives nice for having 35 inch tires a 4 inch lift , well it drives ok ,I drive it home maybe 22 miles no problems . I basically bought it for the engine and the winch and what ever little things I might use for my cruiser . So I start parting it out , I still have to be able to move it so I only want to take off parts that won’t effect me...

SoCal: 1969 FJ40 The Karma Cruiser
Selling vehicles is not my forte, so excuse my presentation. After 13 very enjoyable years of adventure with this great sleeper rig, it’s time for me to start downsizing my stable, and this truck is the first to go. I have a writeup in the 40 section about how I built this rig up during the ‘90s for one of my clients…and how he ended up GIVING ME THE TRUCK in 2010. I’ve put a good bit more work into it since I’ve owned it, including replacing the engine, going through the suspension and brakes again, and hunting down/changing several nuisance items to make it more comfortable for my tastes. Without further adieu , here we go! The good: it’s a turnkey, daily driver. Although I haven’t had it off road for a year, I use it at the shop to...

Bay Area California, 1980 fj40
Been storing this for a couple years now, time to free up some space. This is a us spec 1980 fj40 still wearing its a original dune beige paint! It has been sitting since 1996! I have records documenting 124k original miles. This is an interesting example as it is a California rig, but has some of the usual rust with a late model, but some weird rust. I cant explain the hood rust! It was close to the coast for about 10 years. I bought this from the orignal owners daughter so I got some history. Overall its solid and will need some rust repair, but not a tub replacement. Drivers floor is probably the worst, sill corners, left lower ambi door( other doors are solid. Rockers are solid, see pics for rust areas. This 40 is almost all original...
1978 FJ40 Project
$ 8,000 OBO After 40 years of owning, repairing, building, and wheeling FJ40s, I am switching over to another adventure sport, which brings me to selling my project 40 and a slew of other parts. I do not wish to separate, this lot goes as one, please do not ask about individual items unless you are interested in the whole shebang. I will be happy to have a phone conversation, or send more pics. i am waiting on titles for the two spare bodies, 71 & 73, which have matching vin plates, but do not have a title for the 78 rig the engine is sitting in. I am in discussion wit NC about a title for the 78. The freshly rebuilt engine in the 78 frame cranks and runs great, is has only been broken in as it sets. There is pretty much everything...

1963 FJ-40 L
I have owned this FJ since I was 16, I restored it twice, second time I did a frame off restoration and cleaned and undercoated entire frame. There was never much rust or corrosion on the frame or the body, this vehicle is amazingly clean for a 1963. The second motor swap became a 1993 Corvette LT1 with a Muncie M21 manual 4 speed. Also from the corvette are the 6 way power seats and the tilt wheel to make it easier to get in and out. I also converted it to power steering and upgraded the front axel from a newer model FJ to disc brakes. The vehicle has very few original miles and had very little rust that I repaired when I restored it. It has always been garaged runs great and frame and body are clean. Serious offers only please. I...
Atlanta, GA: 1970 FJ40 Roller
Selling my 1970 roller… I was very excited to do this build, have all the parts together, pulled the leaky 305/turbo400/willys transfer case, bought a 5.3/4L60e, and a split case with an adapter and then ended up buying a rig that was already swapped. This roller is perfect patina IMHO, toyed with the idea of body swapping with my new purchase but couldn’t bring myself to again not have a runner for who knows how long, so I’m selling the roller… Very little rear sill rust (much less than my current 40), perfect patina, looks to be a pretty complete interior. Surface rust underneath but not perforation or scaling really, my plan was to wire wheel and soak it with fluid film… Full disclosure, I paid 12K + shipping a few years ago from...

1982 TOYOTA FJ40 LAND CRUISER *** U.S. Specs
1982 TOYOTA FJ40 LAND CRUISER U.S. Specs *** This FJ40 has the most desired features: late model year, highway differentials (3.70), Factory, larger factory fuel tank in rear, All original emissions. Purchased new in California. It was formerly a Los Angeles California County Sheriff’s vehicle. You can still make out the round seal and Sheriff decal. It is a US Version Land Cruiser which makes a huge difference in comfort, safety, and value. ** BODY CONDITION ** This Land Cruiser does not have the common rust issues. From what I can tell paint is mostly original Toyota, color code #033. NEW: Hood & windshield hooks • Toyota & 4WD emblem • Apron emblems • Tail light lenses and...
Montana: 1972 FJ40 roller project
1972 FJ40 project ... not looking to sell parts. There's rust, there's dents, there's LOTS of good parts that come with it. Before I began removing parts to replace, the engine did turn over with starter fluid or gas in the carb...so that's a good sign! F155 Engine, 3 speed manual. Hard top, 2 sets of J panels and two back hatches. Bimini top frame. 1 set of original seats with long jumpers, the driver's seat is frame only. 1 set of Dodge Ram buckets welded to FJ40 seat frames too as an option. Hard doors, soft doors, roll bar... Too many parts to list. Gas tank had some pinhole leaks so I had it professionally repaired. It's still out and primer painted. I'm not really needing to sell it but I'm open to it. $8000 gets you the truck...
Seaside, OR 1973 fj40
Seems almost complete except for rear heater and the wrong rear doors. Has both original front seats and long jump seats. There’s rust through on the floors and at the corners of the side panels. It’s to far gone for me but might work for a parts rig for someone else. I’m waiting on the title in my name that should be here in about 2-3 weeks. Ask questions if interested and I’ll do my best to answer them. I just got this a week ago on 5/5/25 $2500 OBO
