I am selling my 1968 FJ40 FST, bought it two years ago here on Mud. It underwent a full frame off rebuild/refurbish. Everything that needed replaced was replaced during that time. Things that are original (and refinished where necessary): - body - frame - axles - wheels Things that are replacement: - doors - engine Things that are new: - badging - power steering - vintage air - electronic fuel injection - shocks - soft top - seats The build thread is extensive (below) and I have all receipts for the work completed after the fact. The truck drives great and shifts smooth. The only thing not functioning on the truck...
Long Island, NY. 1966 Toyota FJ-45
Year1966Vehicle Model Location: Mineola, NY 11501 United States Mileage: 104685 Color: white and black Purchased in Texas, 2011, as a frame up restored 1966 FJ-45. It is somewhat less than that,,, and way more at the same time. It was undercoated in 2011, here on Long Island. This is a modified FJ45 with a frame date of 1964 and originally registered in 1966, as a 66. 8 years into it I found rust pushing up from underneath body fill and learned just how much was covered instead of restored. After replacing the windshield frame everything but the tub and bed was removed, sandblasted, zinc coated and repainted before being reassembled. This was when I learned the windshield, doors, fenders and panels forward of the cab are later model...

I had big plans for this one, but unfortunately I’ve moved on and this has just been sitting for years. Low, low miles and very OEM correct and complete. I used it as a pattern for making sure I built my FJ45LV as correctly as possible, invaluable for that. Please see the attached thread that I started when I first brought it home. $23k, can also assist with delivery if needed. Clear title in my name. Seattle: 1981 FJ40 - 3rd owner, all from WA
5 Land Cruisers for a family of 4 probably doesn't seem enough for most on 'Mud… but this 1981 FJ40 is the runt of the litter, so it's big brothers do all the cool trips now, and it's relegated to quick trips to the local store. "The Beater" deserves more, so it's time for someone else to enjoy… and free up coveted garage-space while the 80's get turbo'd. This is a well loved and used and maintained 1981 FJ40 affectionately known as "The Beater", with 214,600mi on the odometer. CarFax shows 3 owners, all in WA State (no salt-belt!!), and no accidents- First owner for 25yrs drove ~162000mi Second owner for 11yrs put on another ~42000mi And we are the 3rd owners for the past 8yrs, driving ~10000mi. It was my son's first vehicle for...

1973 FJ40 PROJECT
1973 FJ40 Project This is a project for someone with more time/energy than I have. This project was inherited mostly as it sits know. There are a lot of parts here, and more parts that are needed to put this thing together. There will be a bunch of fab work that will be needed in order to get this thing running correctly. I will try to be as conclusive as possible of whats all here, and what all is still needed, but there are some unknowns in the details. I acquired the project without all the info and specs, and will detail everything I know and don’t know as much as possible. With that said, this could be a killer project for someone to keep this old cruiser alive. Here are the details: 1973 FJ40, title in hand Mileage unknown...
