Atlanta, GA: 1970 FJ40 Roller
Selling my 1970 roller… I was very excited to do this build, have all the parts together, pulled the leaky 305/turbo400/willys transfer case, bought a 5.3/4L60e, and a split case with an adapter and then ended up buying a rig that was already swapped. This roller is perfect patina IMHO, toyed with the idea of body swapping with my new purchase but couldn’t bring myself to again not have a runner for who knows how long, so I’m selling the roller… Very little rear sill rust (much less than my current 40), perfect patina, looks to be a pretty complete interior. Surface rust underneath but not perforation or scaling really, my plan was to wire wheel and soak it with fluid film… Full disclosure, I paid 12K + shipping a few years ago from...

1982 TOYOTA FJ40 LAND CRUISER *** U.S. Specs
1982 TOYOTA FJ40 LAND CRUISER U.S. Specs *** This FJ40 has the most desired features: late model year, highway differentials (3.70), Factory, larger factory fuel tank in rear, All original emissions. Purchased new in California. It was formerly a Los Angeles California County Sheriff’s vehicle. You can still make out the round seal and Sheriff decal. It is a US Version Land Cruiser which makes a huge difference in comfort, safety, and value. ** BODY CONDITION ** This Land Cruiser does not have the common rust issues. From what I can tell paint is mostly original Toyota, color code #033. NEW: Hood & windshield hooks • Toyota & 4WD emblem • Apron emblems • Tail light lenses and...
Montana: 1972 FJ40 roller project
1972 FJ40 project ... not looking to sell parts. There's rust, there's dents, there's LOTS of good parts that come with it. Before I began removing parts to replace, the engine did turn over with starter fluid or gas in the carb...so that's a good sign! F155 Engine, 3 speed manual. Hard top, 2 sets of J panels and two back hatches. Bimini top frame. 1 set of original seats with long jumpers, the driver's seat is frame only. 1 set of Dodge Ram buckets welded to FJ40 seat frames too as an option. Hard doors, soft doors, roll bar... Too many parts to list. Gas tank had some pinhole leaks so I had it professionally repaired. It's still out and primer painted. I'm not really needing to sell it but I'm open to it. $8000 gets you the truck...
Seaside, OR 1973 fj40
Seems almost complete except for rear heater and the wrong rear doors. Has both original front seats and long jump seats. There’s rust through on the floors and at the corners of the side panels. It’s to far gone for me but might work for a parts rig for someone else. I’m waiting on the title in my name that should be here in about 2-3 weeks. Ask questions if interested and I’ll do my best to answer them. I just got this a week ago on 5/5/25 $2500 OBO

Portland, OR 1966 Toyota FJ40
1966 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser with soft top. Been in the family for over 40 years, second owner. Always stored inside at cabin in eastern Oregon, was only used for hunting and running around the local area. FJ was parked and stored for the last 20 years do to a death in the family. My father in laws last request was for me to take it home and get it running again. It has a small amount of rust in the normal places for a older FJ40, filler panel below tail gate and body mounts in rear wheel wells. Interior is all stock with no tears in the original seats. Odometer reads 17700, I dont know if it rolled over and actualy has 117000 miles. Being its almost 60 years old 117700 would be 1900 miles per year, if it is only 17700 miles that...

Pending sale: Austin, TX: 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser
Well... It pains me to put this in writing but it's time for me to consider selling the old girl. Unfortunately, it's taken me longer to get back in the workforce than I had hoped and it just doesn't make sense to be sitting on an asset like this when bills need paid and food needs purchased. Feel free to shoot me a message with questions if you're interested. Thanks y'all! She's not much to look at in the paint department, but she's got a good heart and good bones. I have owned this little billy goat for a little more than 4 years. I have put a ton of time, effort and parts into this project and have enjoyed the process and the ride. It would probably be quicker/easier to list the parts that I haven't replaced/fixed over the years but...

Winston-Salem, NC : 1973 FJ40
**Price Drop** Well this hurts me to do, I've been working on this thing since 2016, and there's a lot of temptation to stick it in my garage, but my dad said he has no desire to work on or drive his 40 anymore so it is for sale. 1973 FJ40, Chevy 350, H42, 3-speed case We bought this in 2016, with some extremely sketchy suspension and steering, and a slap wore out 1F and 3-speed. Suspension is all brand new mileage wise, technically like 9 years old, but it's been in the garage since we've had it. It is rough country springs and shocks, but I pulled a couple leafs so it rides less like a board now and a little smoother. Has CCOT shackles I think. Steering is still stock push pull manual, center pivot has been rebuilt. All new 555...
Kelowna, BC, Canada 71 FJ40 Custom
No affiliation, but I thought I would share. I saw this at one of our local auction houses. https://www.icollector.com/1978-Landcruiser-350-Vortex-H1-hummer-differentials-and-h1-hummer-portal-hubs_i56427340 The story is that it's out of an estate. I didn't look too hard, as it will most likely be out of my price range. Hydraulic adjust, prepared for 4 wheel steering, Chevy 350 (5.7) - there was a lot of effort and customization. [Edit - update 2025-04-30] It didn't reach the reserve price last week and only got to $6700. It is being re-run this week: 1978 Landcruiser 350 Vortex H1 hummer differentials and H1 hummer portal hubs. 4 wheel independent h -...

Northern Nevada FJ40 wheeler project.
So here’s my project fj40 that I’ve been working on for a few years. There’s a lot here and some of it has been done and anyone with some skill and knowledge could have this thing wheeling in no time. I’ve just lost interest and with my limited skill and time I just can’t get her finished. Hate to say it but I just don’t have the need to get it done. So my loss could be someone else’s gain. Lots of money has been spent on this in parts and labor (by others) and I know that I’m never going to get that for it. Here is a list of what I have. I’ll try my best to explain what’s been done but a phone call would probably be best to describe it all. 283 chevy engine that runs. TH400 built by Carson Valley Transmission. Art Carr gated...
Factory Roll Bar for 1978 FJ40
Hey guys, I recently purchased a 1978 Aussie FJ40 from agouge888. Ofcourse being Aussie it didn't come with a roll bar, but I would like one to have in it as I like the look and safety. I have 2 refurbished short jump seats for it and would love to find a roll bar to match. I travel all over the southeast, NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, MS, and some in Virgina. Let me know if anyone has one or has a lead on one. Thanks, Joel
