71 Fj40 - Tx
This was a barn find my brother and I picked up last year. Neither of us have time to work on it and he thinks he wants an 80 so there's more room for the rugrats. Solid frame and bulkhead - some corrosion in the usual places. Spent its life in southeastern Arkansas. $2000 OVNO. Will deliver within 400 miles of Houston. Vehicle located in storage near Angleton, TX (50 miles south of Houston). Contact Kevin at kevin@collinsorganization.com Will come with new wheels and some 31x10.50s.
[SIZE=1]The drive train is in great condition. I've never had any complaints about the engine (2F) or the transmission (4speed) or the 4 wheel drive. It could pull down a house or climb a wall. When I first got it, I re-wired the entire truck with SOR's Painless wiring harness and it all works. I installed electronic ignition, re-furbished the radiator (i've had no problems with it since), installed headers, replaced the master break cylinder and the slave clutch cylinder, rebuilt the carb, and put BFG longtrails (31x10.5) on it. I have replace the clutch 200 miles ago. So, mechanically, it's a hoss. I can say, without reservation, that I could drive it to California tomorrow if I had to. The body is in good condition, compared to...

Folks, I am selling my 76 FJ40 because I live in the DC metro area and it is not the commuter I need here like it was back in Oregon. (I bought an FJ62 for that!) It is truly a very nice rig, I will send as many pictures as you require upon request. It is Nordic blue with a light blue painted frame and chassis. I recently had it re-wired by Iron Pig Off Road and had the transfer case re-sealed amongst other small things to include a custom cooling system with an aluminum Griffin radiator. Lance Williams of IPOR has had his hands along with his crew all over this rig, and I encourage you to contact him at www.ironpigoffroad.com for his opinion. I am flexible on the price but I will not give it away. Please ask any questions or...

Aloha, Im trying to find a bj40 in SoCal. Minor body damage is fine as long as the Chasis is solid and the rust is at a minimum. I dont mind coming up to Canada if that is where the cruiser is. I would prefer that it is a 1980 or older, for importation reasons. I dont care if she is a little ugly inside and out as i want a car that I can do a little work on. if the car is already registered in the states, particularly in California, I dont really care what year. if you have a cruiser you think i would be interested in just shoot me an email at Hus_Ceorl@yahoo.com. Aloha. Ps. if you have a truck you are trying to get rid of immediatly I wont be able to retrieve anything until sept 1st at the earliest. as I am in Italy for the month of...
I've got a '71 FJ40 for sale. Original F-engine still in the cruiser. The motor is running, but will need a new clutch, freeze plug, and tune-up. Recently replaced all the belts and hoses, put on a new alternator, and rebuilt the master cylinder. Also have a 3F engine to go along with the Cruiser if interested. The 3F is in excellent condition and ready to be dropped in. Body is solid. Has a couple of rust spots in the usual places (on the drivers side rocker panel, the rear seal, and the left/right quarter panels), but is an easy fix. Have plans to sandblast and primer the FJ this weekend. Many new additions to the cruiser over the last couple of months to include: 3" lift kit, greasable shackles, new tach, new steering...

'76 FJ40 with LS1 Small Block For Sale CHANGES Fellow Cruiserheads, Regrettably, I am listing my '76 FJ 40 for sale. I purchased the vehicle about a year and a half ago. It is a hardtop that has never had a soft top on it. I immediatey did an engine and tranny swap. (Performed professionally) The stock 2F motor and tranny came out and in went a 2000 Camaro SS LS1 Small Block and 4L60E Automatic Tranny. Also, installed Saginaw Power Steering at the same time. Installed New 2.5" OME Lift Springs, Shackles, and Shocks. The vehicle is very beautiful with only a few nicks here and there. NO RUST! This vehicle was in Arizona its entire life until it was shipped to me late spring of last year at which point it sat in a temperature...
I'm looking for a "stockish" FJ40. I prefer to have minimal (or no) rust and be good enough for a DD driver, though I won't use it for that purpose. I would like a vehicle that's "ready to go", not a fixer-upper. I'm looking to spend ~$6K, and I will travel outside the local area if necessary. To be exact, I'm in the Maryland suburbs of DC. Thanks.

I'm looking for a rig, here is my wish list. Not all of these are required. Quality over quantity. Pre-1976 FJ40 (so I don't have to smog it in CA) Spring over (cut & turned, shackle reversal a plus) Front & Rear lockers Full family cage (tied into frame) Power steering w/hi steer Disc brakes On board air Decent seats gauges that work wipers & blinkers 35" + tires rock sliders/custom rear bumper (for holding heavy tire)/custom front bumper/tube fenders traction bar half doors & bikini top V8 Winch Decent paint As far as the body goes - no major rust through. I realize they all have rust, but seeing the street through the floorpan isn't so fun. send me a pm
Scott and Cami (former presidents of the Capital Land Cruiser Club) are selling their cruiser. Ebay link below: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170008180460&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:MT:31 Again, this is not mine; I'm just putting the word out. Felix
Hi there, This is not my rig, but I saw this in the paper the other day (next to mine!) and thought I would post it here in case it helps someone. It says it needs an engine, but for that price, it might make a great transplant candidate, or a parts truck! Again, I'm not affiliated, but I'm happy to check it out if someone needs help. Of course, I might try to sell you on mine if you make it down here! :D http://classifieds.aspentimes.com/index.php?pub=04&class=tran Cheers, Kevin
1981 FJ40, it's on ebay item number 330005181847. I am in southeastern Utah, and am asking $6,000. Check out the ebay for pics and more specifics. The basics: 35" MTR's, 383 throttle body with cam, Sm465, POR 15 frame off, painless wiring harness, full floater warns with chromolys all around, birf eliminator, ARB's with 4.56 front and back. Booty fab 6 point cage with booty fab rear tub. Durabak on tub under and over. Like anyone I would prefer this to go to another cruiserhead, but you can't have it all. Call anytime with ? to 435-260-2738. I am wanting to build a mini truck (gasp), so trades on comparibly built mini trucks will be considered. Thanks
Passing this along. No affiliaiton. I know there are a million of you cruiser heads in Colorado and might be able to pick this up for cheap. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA-LAND-CRUISER-PARTING-ENTIRE-TRUCK-ONE-BID_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ10076QQihZ014QQitemZ330004796095QQrdZ1 Dave
