This rig Is complete runs & drives has 59,000 miles. Has typical rust spots but not that bad. Is all stock & has not been driven much since late 1980's. all in working order even the rear heater. Very nice 1974 FJ 40 with on 45,500 miles is currently for sale on e-bay. I have owned the cruiser for 2 years with no problem. I added a 2 1/2" Superlift and cool cruiser shackles, Ranch 5000 shocks and BF Goodrich A/T 33 x 9.5's. This is a great truck with no rust and all original rxcept for the mods listed above. If the truck does not sell on e-bay i would take $15,000 for it. I will be glad to send you additional pics of anything you want and you are more than welcome to drive the cruiser if you live in the area and are a serious buyer.:bounce:

Shows 46000 miles, and that seems about right, but odometer was not working when I bought it. Has the origional F motor in it. I did not do any thing to engine other than clean and tune. I have 2 73 FJ40s for sale. Both of the cruisers run. The white FJ40 has a 2F engine which runs good and has a soft top on it, however the body and frame are not good shape at all and it doesn't have the original seats. I am asking $700 for the white one. The other 40 is Blue and has the original hard top, doors and seats as well as the original F engine which runs good. The body and frame are a little better on the Blue cruiser than on the white one. I am asking $950 for the Blue cruiser. Both have good titles and both run well. First post here! I was wondering the likelyhood of finding a relatively rust free FJ40 in the range of $6000 to $8000. I don't mind a few mechanical things that need attention but do not want a lot of rust or very little if possible. Is this price range realistic? Thanks all.

Here is a list of info, not really in a hurry to sell but looking for 6800 if someone sees what they like...

She is taking up space that I need, and I have come to the realization that it is going to be several years before I get the time to do what I want to do. Also, my FJ60 fills out the role of family hauler a little better for now...:D

Saw this on the way home from training the dog. If I only had $13,000 or a place to put it I would have a second cruiser. Don't know the owner, it is at a chevy dealer on consignment. I have a few better pics and can email them if wanted. Has a v8 (not sure what), and Saginaw. Not sure of the quality of the conversion but looks pretty good. Rear axle rotated, front not cut and turned but has a cv joint. Nice stainless exhaust with flowmaster. Forgot to look at the tire size but looked to be about 37. Vehicle located about 10 miles south of Omaha.

Well I hate to do it, but I am going to see what interest there is in my 71 40. I bought this last year to build with my son, but a year later and nothing is done. The :princess: found a 66 mustang conv. she fell in love with and I don't have enough garage space for both, so for now I will teach my son on the Ford.
The vitals: 1971 FJ-40 with California title. Not running. The truck was converted to V-8 running a Muncie 4 speed. The body is solid with only rust through on the back part of both rear 1/4 panels. The frame and the body are solid other than that except for the side panels on the hard top which have been repaired and it was done poorly. I have extra top and doors from a 76 as well as the disc front end and...
I need to get rid of one of the projects...
Smurf blue FJ40 w/ factory power steering and AC. 83k miles. Everything is clean but the tub. Frame excellent, still has much of the factory black paint. Interior is great. Engine runs sweet and strong. Shifts, steers, drives great. I purchased it with the understanding that the body would need no work... Caveat Emptor. It has patches, filler, and rust. It could be restored or replaced. I begain digging out the filler, cutting a little, found more rust than I care to play with. pics upon request.
