1972 FJ40, it has the original F motor in it, 3 speed transmission, it is currently not running. I baught it as a project but now I don't have time or money to finish it. It has a rust free top, the tub is in decent shape (the lip for the top is still solid) the body work that needs to be done would be pretty easy if you know how to weld, comes with good tires, frame is still solid, I had it running for a while but it had some carb issues. I'm asking $1200 obo. It's located in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. If you would like pictures or any more info email me, bigmrd79@hotmail.com or give me a call (604)799-2836

I'm looking to buy my first Cruiser! Here are my requirements... Location: Puget Sound, Washington (I live in Auburn) Price: depends on condition, but under $4500. Year: 1975 or newer I want something that's mostly stock, and driveable. Doesn't have to look pretty. :) I want the hard top with it. I expect some rust, but do NOT want something that will need most of the body repaired/replaced. No wrecked Cruisers (body and frame must be straight)! Body and frame are the most important to me. I can work through the rest of the mechanical. I'm looking to do a rebuild, keeping it mostly stock with a few upgrades. If you have something like this, please PM me. Thanks!

1973 FJ40 Olympia, WA $5500
I am selling my 1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I have done a lot of work on this truck over the last year. Just finished front disc brake conversion. Has AM/FM cassette radio. We just finished a two day trip to Canada and back. The truck performed perfectly and maintained 70 easily, even up the hills. Drives straight and has plenty of power for the hills This was a good Colorado truck and daily driver for previous two owners. I used it as a daily driver over the winter. Here is what is new in the last year: New tires(Toyo M55), mounted on stock wheels with factory hub caps. Front disc brakes, new pads, turned rotors, new trunnion bearings and seals. Front and rear axle seals. Rear brakes. Drivers window regulator...
Hello. I'm in Tucson, AZ, and as the subject says, I'm looking for an FJ or BJ40. I cannot haul it, and I can't take time off of work, so it either needs to be close and in street-worthy condition or we would have to come to some kind of shipping agreement. Most important is a sound body and frame (no cancerous rust!). I don't have the finesse to do body work, and I don't have the money to have it done professionally. This doesn't mean I'm looking for a show-room cruiser (I couldn't afford it!), just something that has a body in decent condition. Dents, dings, etc. are alright as this is meant to be a fun vehicle and I plan to have it offroad. I can do any mechanical work necessary, but would prefer something that can at least...

This is a 1976 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 that was made for offroading. It has the 2f six cylinder engine. Has all new plugs, wires, and cap and rotor. It has a MSD 6AL ignition box. I made an intake with dryer vent and a K&N air filter that is up on the windshield pillar. It has a 4 speed manual transmission and a iron tcase. It has a brand new clutch with a resurfaced flywheel. It has stock axles with welded differentials and new milemarker locking hubs. It has been gutted. The windows and doors have been taken off. The body is rough with patching. The frame looks solid. It has boat seats in the front. It has two marine fuel tanks. It has a 3500 pound winch on the rear. It has 33" mud terrains on american racing wheels. It has offroad...

1973 FJ40 for sale for $800. The fj40 is pretty rough but would be a good parts vehicle. It has a late model 2F engine which runs good and the landcruiser has a three speed transmission and a soft top and doors on it. The cruiser runs and drives but I would only use it for parts or a mountain buggy because the body and frame are rough. The cruiser has a good title and I will send anyone pics who wants them. Please contact me at holyfieldm14sm@yahoo.com if interested.

[SIZE=1]The drive train is in great condition. I've never had any complaints about the engine (2F) or the transmission (4speed) or the 4 wheel drive. It could pull down a house or climb a wall. When I first got it, I re-wired the entire truck with SOR's Painless wiring harness and it all works. I installed electronic ignition, re-furbished the radiator (i've had no problems with it since), installed headers, replaced the master break cylinder and the slave clutch cylinder, rebuilt the carb, and put BFG longtrails (31x10.5) on it. I have replace the clutch 200 miles ago. So, mechanically, it's a hoss. I can say, without reservation, that I could drive it to California tomorrow if I had to. The body is in good condition, compared to...
