This was my grandfathers camping rig, he lived in eastern Oregon. It is an all original soft top model, I do not have the top. The hard top that is on it now is custom made along with the three doors, ugly thing and heavy....The 'cruiser runs, but the master cylinder leaks and the ignition switch is screwed up- fix those things and put a battery in it and it is drivable. Very little body dings, just surface rust, emblems and dash are in great condition, original wheels, the seats (40/60 up front and one jumpseat in back) have never been re-covered so they are in pretty rough shape. I'll try to descirbe this cruiser as best as I can. I have a 1979 FJ40 that I bought to make a trail rig out of. I ran up on a 71 with a V8 that has divereted my attention and I need funds to devote it, thus the 79 is for sale as a parts machine or a trail rig. To start off with I have no Title. Georgia does not require one on a vehicle of this age. I can provide a bill of sale. This 40 has a lot of rust in the body, if you can weld you can probably salvage it to some extent. The frame shows rust but I believe it can be salvaged for use. The areas around the spring hangers are decent. What is included of use would be the complete dics brake set-up, front and rear 3.73 gearing if you like that option, all switches, good steering column...

I am selling my '76 FJ-40. It has a 4" spring only lift kit, still sprung under. Factory motor and drivetrain, 109,000 original miles. There are only 2 very small rust spots inside the rear inner fenders, other then that its completely clean. Fairly new paint job, custom bucket seats, center console, and stereo. Over $400 worth of Dynamat covered in truck-bed liner on the interior. Asking $6500.00

a bit pricy...but it has a V8 conversion.
I have a 1966 FJ-40. It is a project however, non running. The engine is still under the hood, but the head and rest of it is in the front seat. The hard top has been cut and shorened to the back of the front seat. Has some rust below the rear barn doors. Left rear quarter has a small tear in the side, (easy fix.) Tires are bad. The interior needs redone as well. I just don't have any time right now as I have my 67' 45 I am doing. I am asking $1000. Located outside of Boise, ID.

What I have is a rare 1962 factory softtop truck that is about all original. Has newer style tail lights, and has been sitting for the past 4 years. I stuck the oil pan on and she fired right up. Has a FJ25 intake manifold on it and runs good, the landcrusier experts said that the early 40's like this one recieved some FJ25 parts from the factory from leftovers from the production of the FJ25's. If you look at the door openings it is distinct evidence that its a old cruiser because of the sloped door openings like the even old FJ25's. This thing is in very good condition considering its age. Its one of the few on the east coast and that means its been out of salt too so corrosion is not a factor on this fj40. I mean very little rust...

I have two fj40s sitting at my shop. Getting married soon
and have to clear out my project. The 72 is in good
condition has the normal rust at back of it. slight rust at back of door sills were fender is open.
The drivers shock mount is cracked.and needs head gasket. I have the hard and soft top.
It has a f and a 3spd. The parts cruiser has a 2f 4spd disc brakes frnt and pwr steering.
The only things missing off the parts cruiser is the transfer case and driveshafts. You can check out pictures at
