My girlfriend's father has a very nice FJ40 for sale. It is just about completely rebuilt. There are pics available at www.imotorlist.com along with some details. He wants to sell it as he just doesnt drive it anymore. Not sure if it is ok for me to link it.. but I thought it would be better than trying to repost all the details. I've got a 71 FJ-40 that I need out my hair. It is VERY rusty. Both rockers are rusted out and the drivers side floor needs replacing as well. It has a 2f with the stock three speed and case. The front driver seat is in really bad shape and it is missing the passenger side seat. I have both jump seats for the rear. It has no top, but it does have a set of hard doors that would make a good set of half doors for summer time. It has been converted to electronic ignition and runs as is, it just needs some carb adjustment and TLC. It will make a great project for a woods truck. I have replacment panels to fix all of the rusted areas that I'll throw in. The truck does NOT have a title (they aren't required in Alabama for any vehicle...

Up on the block is a 65-66 FJ 40. The tub is solid except the back under the doors and about 1" on the rear bed. Front right fender has a little fix on it but not bad, hood has blocks installed in the wrong spot but otherwise its good, windshield frame has the vent in it, chrome strip is crooked. I would junk the top (corrugated sides and bad cap). Doors are mediocre-bug catcher style, one is disassembled, frame is solid. I have the motor which was midway in a rebuild, can't verify condition, 3 speed tranny and t-case in questionable condition. The only thing I am keeping is the steering wheel but will replace with whatever. Located near Medford-Grants Pass Oregon. Pics available. $1000 but that is negotiable. Willing to separate top...

Engine has approximately 75k miles on it. Runs great looks bad. This is a project car that has a great engine. Pleanty of rust, but with a project minded individual this will have a return on investment. Can't say that about too many cars. Moving and don't want to pay for transporting.
