My 1997 prado has started to a do very harsh TC lock up when under load. Foe im calmy accelerating in slight incline and it locks the converter very hard. I have flushed the transmission oils about 10k kms ago, old ones were hazy red and new oil is still like new.
I got the transmission temp light on year ago in winter when i was driving in deep snow for a while.
It has new radiator, its not mixing coolant and transmission oil either.
