Got some new wheels. Have always liked the old school, but for some reason, never cared for the factory hubs. Found these wheel vintuques series 12 from summit racing $59 each primer only. Painted gloss white and will mount this week. Summit had free shipping too!!!

Brought my shinny new wheels to the exact same discount tire shop where I bought the tires, 3 years ago, to find they could no longer mount a 33" tire on a 15x6 rim (they mounted said tires on the 15x6 rimsI drove in on).

Had to go to the shady little shop in so chandler. Not a slam on discount, love that business, but wanted to give you a heads up they have that new rule in place

Finally knocked the hard top loose to fix the two broken windshield frame bolts that hold the front lip down tight and put the seal back where it belongs - only to find out most of the air leakage that been freezing my butt off all winter is coming from above the lip , not the seal .
Sigh ....

Also installed standard lifetime warranty metallic pads on my GM metric rear calipers.
I also rebuilt my rear leaf springs. The center pin sheared on the passenger side so just in case I just replaced them both.

Finished up the new rear bumper with double swingouts

Looks good,
Got my double factory roll bar. And just seeing what y'all think of my idea. Funds are very low and I needed seat belts so I put the main hoop off my 1980 40 and I my main hoop off my 74. Had to cut the brackets off the lower supports and cut a piece of tube to 23 1/2 inch. Drilled holes and bolted it up and now paint is the next thing along with a full bikini top

Looks good! Good way to recycle old parts. Just remember it is back there now getting out the back!

I started tearing my 40 down and found months worth of work!

So much for my stock cruiser!! 10 holes in the bed and some more in the cage... All this for a car seat!

2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition rear seats. They fold and tumble and have clips for a car seat.

I drilled and sleeved the stock cage for 3 point retractable belts.

The seat's brackets had to be modified to lower the front and i couldn't find black ones so i got some SEM color coat which can be used on vinyl, plastic, and even rugs

Started disassembling my PTO winch head for a complete rebuild:

I'm guessing it still had the original gear oil in it - like molasses...

Chet - are you running stock height springs and stock length shackles? It looks as if the fenders are uncut as well. Any concernts with the 33's rubbing on the fenders in the rear - it looks tight!

Hey RWB... the OME shackles are about an inch longer than the stock ones I replaced. The fenders are uncut, and you can see the 'before' pic with the 33's... they may only stick out 1/4" from the fender. I'm going to use it more for the unimproved road/trail and not too much heavy duty wheelin' I'm very pleased with the OME product -- gained about 3" between top of wheel and fender.

@ChetGunray - Thanks! My fenders are cut...(very slightly) and I have about 3/4inch longer than stock shackles front and rear - been debating whether I could wedge 33x10.5's under there without a lift.

So, for clarification, you went with OME 2.5in lift springs as well, correct (not just shackles)?
