'72-40 always about halfway finished.

Extracted the tub from storage and set it up to start the body work.

I want to use monstaliner to coat the inside of the roof. I will be using jeep spice to do the roof and rear tub, this color was the closest they had to olive 653.
I sanded and used an abrasive wheel to get all the carpet glue and foam off the inside of the cap.

In a few places I got through the fiberglass and can see a white foam. A few questions, should I repair this with more fiberglass or some sort of filler? Or should I just use monstaliner bed liner to fill those areas?

NaturallyInspired.

I dropped the naked 2F in is natural habitat with a strap passing trough 2nd and 5th cylinder, to reinstall front oem mounts to frame on my 73' Fj40. Bought the landcruiser last year with a 350 chev in it, had to rebuild interior of frame to be ready for stock mounts... now its coming to life in is natural state before snow starts to fall... Front mount original width clearance 24"1/16... i got 7/16 of extra clearance... Starting to prep for reinstallation. Also stripped complete wiring harnesses, starting from scratch with modern fuses, new wires plus a custom relay board to distribute amperage efficiently. Also to let you guys know, this is my very first post on IH8Mud... Hope to enjoy it! Pics will be available coming in before the end of the week!

Took the project to Cousin Josh (Baertrax) to build a "custom" link rear.

What lower radiator hose heater did you order and how do you like it? I am torn between this option and a block heater. The block heater, however, may interfere with one of the header down tubes so I might not have a choice. Thanks.

Swapped passenger and driver's seat bottoms to even out wear, cleaned up headlight connections, new shocks on all four corners, changed rear diff oil, fixed driver side door stop, straightened out PS ambi door hinge. Now it closes perfectly. And, collected 20 cents in change and some fossilized pistachio nuts along with lots of dirt when I blew out the rockers. :steer:

Prepared the top for a fresh coat of paint and sealer on the gutters. I am no longer parking under the pine tree on the side of my yard. I had to scrape all the sap off and then sand the top.

Gotta love iPhone pictures at night.

Embarrased about the copious amount of black smoke under heavy acceleration or going up-hill, I took the BJ to have its fuel pump serviced. About $260 USD later, new injectors, new seals, and a lot of other bits and I now have a clean burning 30 year old 3B!
