Today we just crossed into Northern Cyprus by ferry from Turkey. Little Internet and still a fair bit of work to this week.
I will continue the Japan saga a bit later.
Soooo, what happened in the days before we see our friend Masa with a big hammer attacking our bumper?
After spending some time with our friends we were all invited for a little Land Cruiser meetup nearby.
"Let me drive." Masa asked.
I never...
Let’s go for a drive…27 yrs later.😳 @mailking
Well done Dan. There are some amazing “overlanding in a 40 series” stories out there but this one sets the bar.
Favorite quote: “Crossing Siberia in the Dead of Winter”. Circa 2018..
At the request of @Chungas Revenge this week's podcast featuring @mailking what started out as a 2 year journey has turned into a 27 year adventure across 3 continents in a Bj45 troopy.

Okay, I see that the last issues [that is when I come here ;-)] I commented on here was in 2014 in Peru, with the diesel sedimenter. (we have replaced that thing in Japan! But I will come to that a bit later)

You may know we've been on the road for more than 20 years, and that have published travel stories left and right.
And always people have been asking us:
... fast forward many moons ...
Our first English book [after 3 successful Dutch...
