Thillign day

Good day with a few thrills..

Took her toodling around Hidden Falls, got up high on top of the mountain..
(pics on face book i'll move if you can't see...)

Great views of the texas hill country..

Did a little light wheeling...

and Jackknifed her on the way out of the park

Who knew driving 30 MPH to get out of the park was more dangerous than a day a light wheeling...

On the upside nothing was damage except my underwear and my adrenal gland...

I had planned to weld together a pair of barn doors I have to make a tailgate, but I got this one from the classifieds instead. The bolts through the rust will hold it until I fix it after Pismo in Nov.

I didn't do anything to the land cruiser, but I did get her a new home! Still need my air compressor, welder, mini (beer) fridge, and a few other things to go along. I can't wait to have a 3 car garage to work on my project!

Trying to get this thing back on the road. Got rid of most of the bad spots.



After a ton of prep. It's better than it was and no more rust holes. That's all I'm looking for.

Tintable liner not exactly what I hoped for considering I had the paint mixed at the same time. Oh well I'm ready to start putting things back together. Figured I would at least hose the rest of the truck off with some soap and water before I start bolting up.

yup, planning on it - but there are a few projects ahead of me . . .

Got rid of the awful aftermarket wheels and spacers, went stock and 33x10.5x15 KM2s. My wheel caps won't fit though. Still need to do a lift. Planning on the 4" TPI4x4 kit.
