Here in Phoenix AZ, we are still waiting for the Monsoon storms to come and dry out the air. Right now my garage is like a swamp, good for the skin however

Totally agree. My Vintage Air after mkt A/C is the only way to keep it bareable to drive during the summer with the top on... Lizard skinning the underside of the tranny hump also made a big difference in reducing heat radiating into the passenger compartmentYou might be surprised. We’ve averaged a high of 103-107 here in Houston for the past couple of weeks, and while the A/C in my 40 wont freeze you out, it does keep me from breaking a sweat when driving it. I’m certain that driving it without A/C would quickly result in sweat soaked clothes here!
What is this sweat you speak of? Man, I was wearing a thick hoodie and an old Army field jacket the last couple of weeks I was driving in the mornings!@imyahucklbrry ….I am thinking AC in a 40 here in August would be largely ineffective.
That looks like a nice product - the heat from my hump is definitely the biggest contributor in summer.Totally agree. Brushed on 4 thick coats (although they recommend spraying). It ended up about 1/4” thick. I gave it a final coating of POR topcoat paint (chassis black)That looks like a nice product - the heat from my hump is definitely the biggest contributor in summer.
How thick did you put it on?
Where did you get these from? I got a set a while back but they would not stay on.
From the local Toyota dealer parts counterWhere did you get these from? I got a set a while back but they would not stay on.
Huh. I didn't realize land cruisers had those....
Beautiful 40's. As much as I would like to visit the www.olc4x4.com website, sadly the server is currently down.
