Maybe I'll come and visit in the 40 someday when the salt is off the roads. I remember the salt looking like snow in places until May or later. 
i have searched and searched for this t shirt in canada. nothing that doesn’t require a special order fee of and extra $25 bucks. almost doubles the price. it’ll be $80 by the time i get it!! too bad. it’s a pretty awesome one

I am looking for the thread size and pitch for an oil drain plug, item 90345-54001 also referred to as item 38101B. I had the housing powder coated and there is some powder coating on the threads I'd like to ran a tap through so the plug seats nicely.
It appears to be 1.75 pitch, but I cannot determine the diameter. Taps at this size are expensive and I'd want to purchase the right one the first time!

Finally wired my oil pressure sensor. Thanks to @ToyotaMatt for the connector and wire! Haven't seen oil pressure in three years

Finished front door weather stripping. No more rattling doors. New front break pads. Brakes work much better.
Started painting the bezel. Although my hood, left fender and bib are primer grey the chrome bezel was driving me crazy

.798 inches = 20.269 mm - which should raise a flag
The OD of a male thread is always a tad under its namesake, never over. It is technically called the, 'major diameter.' Either it is measured wrong, or it is not a metric, because it is just over 20mm. My best guess is it is 13/16-16, which is close to the 1.75 pitch in metric. The minimum major diameter (OD) for 13/16-16 is .8016 inches, so it is very close to your measurement, but just a hair under, but it remains my best guess.
I looked up the noxudol product - looks pretty sweet. I had never heard of it before. The 3101 says it converts sound into heat- guess that is the perfect product for Finland. Looks good!

The name of the oil plug in the Toyota Parts library is called a 'Tapered Plug' Here is an image of the diameter at the bottom.
Here is an image of the side, showing the taper.
The oil drain plug came from an OEM PTO driven Winch, it is definently metric! I tried very loosely tried a 3/4-16 which is the closest I have to a 20x1.75, and it begins to go in the hole but you can visually see that the threads are not lined up correctly.
Looking at McMaster Carr I want to order a package of metric nuts - but none exist with the pitch of 1.75 at this diameter.
Any other suggestions Mudd?
