I finished replacing my leaking front pinion seal, soldered a pinhole leak in my brand new heater core and replaced the stereo...

Continued working on my tnk wiper motors and am happy to report they both are working perfectly with functional parking!
One is in paint, the other white metal, but should have them both complete very soon. And they both with be sporting my new 3d printed terminal covers which I have tweaked on for hours to get just right.
Now I'm going to print a final set is high res.
Pic shows one of the test piece's.

Finally started the re-build! Dad disassembled about 2007...o_O Started with firewall, dash wiring, instruments, rear heater lines, wiper motor/lines, attached various components in the engine bay, clutch cylinder, brake booster, new battery tray. Had to tap out all screw holes because of paint/body work. Read manuals, wiring diagrams, Mud(!), google, old photos, drank beer, got stoked and encouraged that someday it will be rollin again. Actually got a lot further than anticipated. Much chin stroking and frustration but when pieces like the gauge cluster go in it is an amazing feeling

Did you, or a previous owner, import your Land Cruiser, or was Toyota originally sold domestically in the USSR?

This one is JDM BJ44 imported from Japan in late 90s. Toyota started to sold Land Cruiser in the USSR beginning from 60-model at the end of 80s.

Officially Toyota never sold FJ40 domestically in the USSR. Maybe some of FJ40 sold on "black market" at that time.
