Removed/reinstalled the driver's seat to get to some rust that needed to be sanded down, removed the PO's stickers from the rear bumper and drove it around the neighborhood a few times. It has an appointment in a few weeks at the local cruiser shop for a full inspection (then the real fun will begin).

For those 9/72 - 8/76 FJ40/ FJ55 owners , Last week TOYOTA

Sadly Discontinued You Needed Voltage Regulator 27700-60080-84

- i DO NOT like when TOYOTA Diss's its Past and it's most Loyal Phans like this

So , i said there Must be a way to help here ? 🤔

after some deep thought and a few Cold Ones :beer::beer:

I dreamed up a Needed Parts solution :

I Triple verified the Base Regulator was the exact same , it is ...

i take a older non-usa Regulator , and simply add My CUSTOM Hand-Made

and Designed Sub Harness to it , .......

- PRESTO 💥 Presenting : 27700-60080-84-RR

then RR stands for Reproduction and Re-Manufactured , both of witch apply here

so ,

" Now 9/72 - 8/76 40 & 55 owners can rest assured,

VintageTEqParts.com Has Your Back "

comes with a NOS 90980-04010 Condenser also as a BONUS ! :D

My “new” 40 frame came in today. Can’t wait to get it home and cleaned up for the 72.

The box has a fresh headliner for my wife’s 80.

I paid a coworker who lives locally to haul my stuff home on my trailer with his Quigly 4x4 van.

Speedo cable broke. I didn’t take my time last time I had it disconnected from the cluster and gave it too tight of an angle in the routing.
Took out the cluster, took it apart and cleaned and relubed the speedo/odometer gears with some nice bike bearing grease.
